The hype surrounding Shabu Club was completely justified by my first experience there.Excellent value, both in terms of the food and the service! Oh, and that cilantro ponzu dipping sauce (which is not the standard sauces I'm used to), really complemented the tender cuts of meat, it was so delicious!In addition, I ordered a glass of wine, which was presented to me in a bottle that had been cut in half and was sitting in a bucket of ice. I had no choice but to place a second order, haha!Even though it was on the house, I couldn't refuse the complimentary dessert.When I return to San Francisco, you can count on me to make a reservation at this restaurant.
Best shabu shabu or hot pot in town!The beef is just so good, also the dipping sauce was amazing especially the green ones. Man if you haven't eat Shabu Club/Shabu House you haven't eat asian food.Place was packed, last order is 8:45pm and you can't make a reservation.
This place is amazing!! I love their Shabu-Shabu Set with Broths are so filling. If you get the large it's more than enough for 2 to 3 people. Or you can take leftovers home. Make sure to save room for the ice cream on a cone.
Took forever to take our order, I’m not sure why but we had to ask 3 people before finally getting our order in. About a 10 minute wait to get a table *with* a reservation and another 20 minutes to get our order in. If this is how customers with reservations are treated, I don’t want to know how those without reservations are. Staff seems very scatterbrained and not very concerned with what’s going around them. Decent place, just really oblivious and incompetent staff. Really disappointing :/
Love it here. Really friendly staff, fast service, and super tasty shabu. The free ice cream cone at the end really just tops it all off.
Great AYCE hot pot. Beef quality is good. Kobe Beef French fries was delicious.
I love everything about this place! This place is very busy but the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are really good especially their broth and green sauce. Love their happy hour between 5pm-7pm and their complimentary ice cream. Highly recommend!
Delicious food, fast service. However, the seats could be wiped before seating people. A seat had a long hair strand and another seat had crumbs.

After coming back for the first time in nearly two years due to covid, they still kept their recipe and it definitely hit the spot.I ordered a 2 meat plate combo with half beef, half lamb plate. They also provide rice, and also offer ramen or udon along with the plate. The ramen was chewy and tasty. No extra charge.The broths we chose were tonkotsu and miso. I couldn't tell which one was which, but the white broth was more flavorful than the brown broth. Both delicious.Be sure to grab the cilantro cream sauce. I preferred that over & along with the ponzu and sesame sauce.Thank you Shabu club for staying consistent pre- and post-pandemic!
