I was out to dinner with my sister before seeing a concert at the Masonic. We took the cable car to Seven Hills which is so iconic San Fransisco. The food it completely top notch Italian/Californian style. The two of us split a salad, a pasta and the market fish. This is the way to go in my opinion. The portions are just right for sharing and then we got to taste three wonderful dishes. The service is amazing. They brought us clean plates and silverware with each course. The pacing was perfect. At one point, when we had not decided on our pasta, our server said, "Take your time. Enjoy your evening out.". The food had lots of fresh local ingredients. We could taste the quality. The price was reasonable as well. For three glasses of house wine, one salad, one pasta, one plate of salmon it was $160. I would go back and I would also make a reservation first.
The food was amazing - lots of choices for the carnivores as well as the vegetarian. Great wine list and the waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, helpful but not pushy or overbearing.
Great food in a great location (though we opted to park on the west side of Van Ness and walk over, 10 min uphill, because parking nearby is impossible). Very attentive service. Intriguing dishes. Lovely anniversary dinner.
3 of us went, all had pasta, all excellent. My daughter wasn’t too keen on her pesto pasta (more to do with the bland taste buds of an 11 year old than the food quality) but they comped it and brought a tomato pasta she loved on the house. Excellent food and the same for customer service. Would defiantly come again.

Service excellent; pasta overwhelmed anything else in the dish; seated in the back room which was warmer and noisier than the front.
The food was great and the waiters were very nice. We got free dessert because it was my sister's birthday!
Loved it. Professional service. Pastas hit the spotâ Al of the flavors of every dish were super balanced. Standout, interesting Italian wines, even by the glass.
