Scrumptious cakes! I ordered three 1/3 sheet cakes for my daughter’s 40th birthday celebration. Strawberry shortcake, Mango mousse, and Chocolate truffle torte. Just gorgeous and with perfect inscriptions. Everyone raved about them! I needed to order cakes for her surprise party and they had a 48 hour processing time, which was just the right amount of time! They gave my husband a box of cookies too! Thank you for making my daughter’s birthday spectacular!
I ordered opera cake for my husband's birthday and it was super delicious..My kid who never eats cake surprisingly loved it too..It's not too sweet and absolutely mouthwatering..Highly reccomend..
With the high cost of anything these days we wanted something delicious. Schubert's always delivers. The Napoleons and princess cake are faves. Although anything we buy here seems to put a smile on our faces. It's hard to leave empty handed once you step in the door. Dieter's beware.

Oh my goodness! One of the worlds best bakeries. The cakes are frankly delicious! I got the princess cake and everyone was raving about it :)! The other cake I got was the mango mousse, it was light fluffy and a bite into cloud.
Generations of San Franciscans have enjoyed Schubert’s cakes, cookies and pastries! This is Austrian style pastry (and boy, this chef knows beautiful cake making!).The Swedish Princess Cake has been served to countless family’s princesses, queens and kings!They offer delicious butter cookies which are sold by bag or gift box (my guilty pleasure). Marzipan with jam mini thumb sized treats in the shop for the holidays.I stopped by for some cake slices for the Thanksgiving Day meal.I got delicious Italian Rum Cake.The nice young people who are learning customer service skills (the owner is awesome about helping youth get job experience) were quick!To be honest: one of the Italian Rum Cake slices did not survive until the holiday!Oh well, I’ll have to return super early tomorrow to Schubert’s for more cake ?!
By far my favorite bakery in the western US. I absolutely LOVE the strawberry layer cake. When I lived in Sausalito it was out monthly treat, I miss it dearly. If you're in town stop by for a sweet treat, you won't be sorry!
Always courteous, efficient service. Love their mousse cakes, and they'll write a title for your cake, even at the last minute. They have a good variety of types and sizes of cake or mini-cake, so it's just a matter of what's left when you get there.
