Some of the best Chinese food on the planet...Be warned when you order takeout CHECK YOUR ORDER INFRONT OF THEM!!! About every other time we order they have messed up my items for pick up... If you make the drive all the way home and drive back they will only replace your order with no offer for a discount or refund. I have worked in the restaurant industry for decades and have never experienced such a disregard for the guests experience. If a party of four (a 4 top) in my restaurant ordered 4 filets and the server came out with 3 filets and 1 chicken, the manager would immediately approach the guest with the wrong order, apologize, offer to let the table taste the chicken if they wish and bring over the filet the guest ordered. That guest would have their dinner bought for them because of the mistake the restaurant made. It's awakard and the experience for the guest has been sullied. I on the other hand had to drive to pick up the food, drive all the way home, open my food and find my order is wrong, bring the wrong items all the way back, to be greeted by a guy who would not apologize but blame the kitchen and then be handed off to a chef/manager who also couldn't find it in himself to apologize and correct the issue. I firmly believe they should have made me the dishes I ordered and given me a refund or a discount and at the very least admit fault and apologize. I understand this is one of the busiest restaurants in the city and for good reason but I hope they haven't gotten so big they've gotten sloppy and irreverent toward the guests they host.
Pretty much my favorite place to go to pick up something for Ocean Beach (other than boba of course). I always go for the original dry fried chicken. The chicken was a mix of flats and drums.. some were meatier than others but overall everything was fried well. However, the star of the show is really that thick sticky sauce. It does have a little kick to it due to the red peppers they add but nothing overwhelming. Although I'll admit I suffered a little since my tolerance is pretty bad. My friends tried it for the first time and loved it!
Probably my fourth time coming here for dine in, was craving some chicken wings and other stuff. We had the combination chow mein, garlic string beans, honey walnut shrimp, and of course the dry fried chicken wings. Everything was good but the wings took and extra wait so we’re like okay maybe good things take time. When the wings arrived it looks good at first but the sauce ain’t for me since I only like authentic Chinese food. This place is good don’t get me wrong but the wings are kinda hyped.
famous for the dry chicken wings and rightfully so! these were great and perfectly crispy, however, i do think they’re a little overhyped. overall, satisfying chinese food!- service was prompt, considering how busy they were. waited around 40min at 730pm on a Saturday. I would get there a little earlier to make sure you can make the waitlist before they close it.- well priced! good value for all the dishes- dry chicken wings: perfectly crispy and saucy but flavor profile was a little 1 dimensional which disappointed me a little. a must try still though- green beans: not really good tbh, expected more but it ended up being pretty bland. good portions though- hot and sour soup: as expected in a good way. exactly what I needed on a cold evening and they didn’t skimp on the toppings- braised chicken: liked the variety of veggies to balance the meats but the wings were kinda soggy.
My niece came from the East coast to check out UCSF and do some research on the housing situation since she was accepted by the medical school for a residency. I saw this restaurant while I was looking around the surrounding area on Google Maps. On Saturday, 3/27, four of us came to this restaurant at 11:45 AM. We were seated right away. We ordered some dumplings, pot-stickers, a pork dish, and a beef dish. While I was looking over the menu to choose a chicken dish, the waitress reminded me that the restaurant is famous for its dry fried chicken wings so I ordered one. Everything was delicious. I noticed that every table ordered the chicken dish. Price was very reasonable. All these dishes came to $85.00, before tip. All service persons were very friendly. By the time we left the restaurant, around 12:45 PM, there was a line waiting for tables. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.
Omggggg y am I just now trying this place!!!! These chicken wings are even better the next day. Had the won ton soup n they did not disappoint. Too packed in there, had to order mines Togo. Overall, bomb.com
Hands down one of the best meals we've had in the city. The spicy seafood soup noodles, dry fried chicken wings, and green beans were all incredible. The place was bumping and it was clear why - the food is exceptional and the portions are HUGE since its all family style. Would highly recommend coming here.
We arrived at 4:00 pm and got seats right away for our family of five when they opened at 4:30 pm. We enjoyed all the entrees, especially the dry fried chicken, which was a recommendation from our waitress. The staff was quite attentive and the food came out timely so we were not overwhelmed. I would highly recommend this popular restaurant, by the time we left there were quite a few people waiting for tables.

Excellent food, fast service. Particularly outstanding were the noodle dishes, dried chicken wings, and bok choy with mushrooms. It gets crowded fast and only takes reservations for parties of 6 or more, so go early or be prepared to wait outside a bit. So glad we got this home town insiders tip to go here.
