Hole in the wall and a neighborhood gem in the heart of the Tenderloin district of Sạn Francisco, and only a 20 minutes walk from Union Square. This Banh mi sandwich deli have been here for more than ten (10) years, possibly longer. Love their combo and beef. They give really huge portions both on the meat and bread. They also add a ton of pate spread that will make your mouth water. Really good banh mi price from $4.75 to $6.00. A great deal and very inexpensive especially in San Francisco. Take out only and they do take credit cards. I highly recommend.Cheers!
Fast serving, you can even stop for 1 min and order then back to your car. I had a vietnamese coffee also, i find it a bit strong but was tasty. We ordered sandwiches tofu and chicken, there were pretty big and after eating one I was not able to eat anything else.Good prices.
Been coming here for over 40 years. Best Chicken Banh Mi.
How many of you out there love pâté Banh Mi like me? Mix of liver and "other"chopped pieces of goodness! Or do you think it's "gross"?Saigon (SF) is a original SF institution and still does it well with the right amount of bread, toppings and sauce. For only the price of a gallon of gas ⛽ at Costco ($4.75)! For that price, you can also choose Tofu, Roast Chicken, Roast Pork and Meatball. The "combo" sandwich costs $6.Wash it down with their Vietnamese iced coffee for that caffeine jolt!
This place has been serving banh mi’s before non minorities knew what a banh mi was. Saigon Sandwiches proves to be consistent, fast, affordable, and most importantly, satisfying.I would recommend their sandwiches to most. Better than Lee’s down the street.
This is Not a Việt namese sandwichIt’s horribleA piece of cheap bread stuffed with 2 slices of packed pork cake and chewy beef and diced carrots is NOT a Việtnamese sandwichThis shop was good 20 years ago, but do not buy into it just because they called themselves ViệtnameseDon’t be fooledI bought 6 sandwiches today and 5.9 was in the trashAfter the 1st bite the bread crumbled to piécesSqueezed it little harder you will get an ooze of pate mixed with mayonnaise, and 1/2 the bread is now soaked wet and starting to fall apart. The filling is too much of what is not fresh. The green cilantro covered the old chả lụa was the only familiar look. (Not taste)

This is a great period of time to Invest and earn reasonable profits with great signals on bitcoin and binary trade, with the help of a woman called MRS ARIELLA, she is the best account manager I have ever known or heard of.
This is a great hole in the wall spot for banh mi. There’s no seating and it’s cash only so you know it’ll be good. Really glad to have found a spot that sells banh mi for under $5! The quality is great, portions are fairly large (each sandwich is about 1 lb), and the service is quick. We got the roast chicken and pate ones and they were both delicious and filled with cilantro, jalapeños, pickled carrots and lots of meat! They also have tofu options for people who are plant based! Amazing!
A hole in the wall place in tenderloin.. a lot of homeless here so you really gotta be careful walking these streets.. I took a bus to the closet stop and walked about 5 mins to the store and took a bus straight out of there.. the sandwich is so good I went back again..
