Maybe I am just hitting the lottery or SF is really that good with food choices. This place the ambiance is amazing with the piano sitting in the middle. Service is impeccable and the sushi is amazing. Just be prepared for massive lines and long waits. But if you eat during senior citizen hours like me.... It's fine

Looks like nothing from the outside and was dingy as hell when I had dinner there. But it’s the best sushi and freshest fish I found in SF. Yellowtail and salmon nigiri was superb.

OMG! Amazing!Recommended bar hotel bartender where I stayed. Decided to check it out on first night after a couple rounds of drinks. The wait was expected, not bad. The owl tree across the street allowed to kill the time.Enjoyed the live music first of all. The beef teriyaki was amazing and did 2 rounds of it (or was I just hungry?). Shrimp and veggies tempura was delicious as well. Had a round of shrimp roll with cold sakeIt’s a little gem that’s for sure.

*Stomach ache avoid alert*We spent $150 in return of stomach ache.1. Smallest and most expensive uni ever, not recommend (two for $22)2. Nigiri plate with 11 choice of fish was not fresh at all, especially those fish with lemon scent or lemon slice on top.3. Chicken karaage is relatively okay compared to the nigiri.4. Tako wasabi was okay with beer.5. Hot tuna was the only dish we ordered with no further concern.Btw, I’m posting this review on my toilet and this is my first time posting a bad review for a overpriced and horrible Japanese restaurant.

The vibe here is really cool. There's a DJ and the service and atmosphere are really fun. The sushi is decent but not great, so I would rate it 4/5 at best. Fun place.

Truly excellent rolls and takoyaki, in a comfy basement. Not very covid-compatible but oh so nice.

This review is for take out. The food was really good for to go. The sushi was still good quality for the price.

Great vibe but food needs improvement. We had sushi rolls and they were not bad..that’s it not good just not bad. Small portions, nothing that can surprise you.Deep fried oysters were tasteless, I can’t recommend them but miso soup was the best I ever had. I am just surprised how entire sushi bar is operated by 2 guys…what a speed.

I must say WOW. This place was so busy when I sat down and they still managed to fill my hot tea every time my cup was empty. They payed attention and made sure you’re well taken care of. The sushi is incredible… order from their special menu. It’s authentic sushi and you can taste it. おいしかったです!

Horrendous accessibility. There is a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant. When I asked about the accessible entrance, I was told there was none, which is a laughably absurd situation in 2021. No restaurant deserves to be in operation if it discriminated against people who can’t take stairs. I was told that they’ve “carried other wheelchair patients down the stairs.” The next time I am called a patient while trying to get into a restaurant I’ll request a gown and free jello.
