This is a fast-casual spot specializing in rotisserie chicken dishes. I had the chicken sandwich and umami fries, both of which were tasty. A little on the pricey side, but not super expensive.
Nice environment but food missing the mark.Chicken soup - the strangest flavour with a combination of soy source taste, herbs, and cheese sprinkle on the top?Grilled broccoli so oily and lack of seasoning, can taste and smell the oil really defeats the purpose of veg.Soup -9Broccoli-6 price not bad while I won’t be coming back as it is so greasy. This is base on my one time visit.
Great spot! It’s worth the price and the rice bowls are my favorite! I have only tried the chicken, but I bet the other meats are good too!
The "fat rice" made the rotisserie chicken bowl absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! Also, the staff are the best and super friendly. I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant and the staff made every effort to contact me and return my wallet.
Always tasty food! Love the lamb, especially the bowls that have the rotisserie fat rice.
Such delicious takeout! We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken with two chimichurri sauces; shredded cabbage with candied almonds; the brussels sprouts; the salad; and a container of soup to freeze for later -- and everything was incredibly fresh, well-prepared, beautiful, and flavorful. Especially loved the light, crisp cabbage (which I didn't expect); and the gorgeous salad (packed with vibrant herbs, toasted seeds, and pickled red onions) may be my new favorite restaurant salad in SF! Tasty but greasy. Brussel sprouts were served in a pool of oil. Chicken was described as rotisserie but had flat crispy edges and had clearly been cooked/roasted in a pan of oil and the meat was dry. The cauliflower was a sponge of oil as well. The menu really needs some lighter and brighter components - some fresher vegetables with more acidic flavors. Everything was an umami-bomb, which I know is real trendy and tasty for a few bites but gets tiresome.
The rotisserie chicken sandwich was good. The brussel sprouts side was not due to too many toppings like cheese, slight mayo, and probably salt/pepper. The prices were around market rate for the area. Not too expensive and not too cheap.
The chicken sandwich has exceptional flavor. However, it is almost entirely bread with very little actual chicken. Would you like a little side of chicken with your bread? RT Rotisserie is your place.
Amazing for takeout. Super unique flavors. I am gluten free and did not get sick.
