This place has been sold recently and it’s gone downhill as far as I can tell. My chicken avocado on Dutch Crunch had hardly any chicken in it - yes there was a avocado but mostly lettuce and other things. I really disappointed because it used to be my go to place for a good sandwich
Delicious, filling, and massive sandwiches, very big portion sizes as I can only eat half the sandwich .
Trust me when I say this: best service, sandwiches hands down, no one compares just try for yourself ?????
Roxie's is the sandwich spot!! My go to ever since my boy told me about it and they've been around a while. I didn't know until I was in my 30's lol but hey better late than never. Anyway, sandwiches are always on point never disappoints and the folks are super nice. Definitely another go to when you want a sandwich. They got drinks and chips too of course.
Delicious deli sandwich! I got the Tonys Tri-tip sandwich in the regular size and it is definitely a generous portion for 1 person.
Grilled king sized subs! Currently my personal favorite when it comes to sandwiches. Parking can be a bit touch and go but if you can find a place to park, you're in for a great sandwich. However, they're expensive for a sandwich.
Stopped on the corner to make a call and could smell the delishisness from the curb. Went inside and ordered the Tony's special (bbq tri tip)And it tasted like a party in my mouth. Sadly I didn't make it far without coming back to get another sheeeesshhhh.
Got two regular sized sandwiches on dutch crunch, which were foot long subs. I can't imagine how big the large are. I've never had dutch crunch bread before and it was so satisfying to bite into. The sandwich was hot with cheese that perfectly melted and pulled as you bit away. Staff helped guide us through our order and were very courteous. Don't shy away because it's a corner store these sandwiches are ???
Delicious. A local hidden gem for frills sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The menu is nuts to read, but if you know what you want then it’s probably on the menu.I had the breakfast sandwich and it was one of a kind. Only this place would slap some fresh scrambled egg, bacon, and ham then combine it with regular sandwich mixing (lettuce, jalapeños, tomatoes etc). It’s a large sandwich so come hungry!Definitely coming here again next time I’m in the area.
Best BBQ hot link on Dutch crunch! Was introduced to this place by my partner who grew up getting this sandwich after swim practice in high school. It's definitely the most unique sandwich that they make and something you can't find anywhere else.Thinly sliced hot link sausage is not too spicy and great texture. You get your choice of bread and cheese, so we go for the Dutch crunch and cheddar. Comes with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles. We opt for no mayo, and add jalapenos and bbq sauce. The large is enough for two people to share. The Dutch crunch really is special. They have a secret supplier that they won't tell anyone. It can get really busy around lunch so recommend calling in your order ahead of time. Takes about 15-20 min. Street parking is free and relatively easy to find on San Juan. When you arrive for pickup, don't stand in the sandwich line, go straight to the register and tell them you called in your order.
