The breakfast are wonderful. Delicious. I will be back to try more dishes.I ordered French Toast with Nutella and Strawberry, Eggs Benedict and Soup of the Day.Toast, eggs, potatoes are great. BUT the soup was not fresh. It's sour! Of course, this soup was not counted on our bill.deducting one star for this soup(
The walk up Powell was worth it. The Stuffed French Toast was good, the Orange juice was refreshing and the coffee bold and a wake me up. My favorite item was the sausage! The atmosphere was awesome and so was the staff. The time from order taken and meal to the table was quick. It would have been 5 stars but the one thing is the bacon was over cooked but still good. I will bring friend's and family and will definitely tell my customers to come and eat at Roxanne's.
I've been staying at the SF Union Square Marriott for the past several days, wanting to have breakfast at Roxanne's, but deterred by the steep one block climb. After walking all over town for three days I finally felt like taking on the challenge. And it paid off! I was seated right away in a small booth in the back of the restaurant. I had to sit a little on a slant because I couldn't get my right leg around the table leg, but it was comfortably OK. I had brick wall next to my shoulder, but a good view of the restaurant and the passing cable cars and interesting passers by. I ordered the pictured "Joey's Scramble" that included eggs, spinach, bacon, provolone and salsa. It was as good as it looks. Service from multiple servers kept my coffee cup full and me happy. Going back down the hill was trickier than the climb up though.
Open from 7am, this was a perfect place to eat breakfast after waking up early in SF. At 8am we walked into a table on a Saturday, by 9am the queue was out the door. My partner had a great omlette with apple, and I had the Corned Beef Hash sunrise breakfast which was decadent and unctuous!
My first time in SF and was with my wife and daughter. OMG!!!! We hit the jackpot of an ideal and clean place to eat breakfast! The food was fresh and exquisite! The waitstaff and management were cordial and friendly. My special thanks to Cindi and Carlos for going out of their way to be informative courteous and kind to us. We liked it so much we came back for breakfast today. Try it! You'll like it!!!!
I ordered poached eggs, which is always a test of the kitchen. They were done correctly with slightly runny yolks and cooked whites. Fruit salad was strawberries, blueberries and kiwi not the usual melon. Husband sent back for lunch and enjoyed his salad. Service was quick. Only complaint is tables were small and upgrade to fruit instead of potatoes was $3. Our breakfast for two was $53.
Lovely find, clean with plenty of choice - busy which is always a good sign. Friendly welcome seated immediately food arrived quickly fresh and hot. Great coffee with constant top ups. Very reasonable prices for the quality - would recommend
Cute cozy place with great coffee and food. If you are still into social distancing, you may want to wait until you get over it as this place doesn’t discourage making friends while you break bread. But what an absolute delight you get with a great staff and amazing food. Great bennies. Great coffee. This is THE place to have breakfast if you are staying on or near Nob Hill.
Been here several times- always friendly and attentive service! Good coffee, good food! ??
During the last day at San Francisko I have decided to visit this cafe. What can I say. It is lovely place for couples or even solo visit. The surrounding music remembers for me visit at Paris. The stuff was friendly, while meal - super delicious. I took omlete with baked mufin and late. I was really impressed.
