I ordered two sandwiches for carryout after not having eaten for 24 hours due to travel. The sandwiches were excellent and made quicker than I have ever experienced at any deli. There is a large selection of deli food and wine. Just a great vibe, very friendly.
Lovee Rossi's Deli in culver city. They unfortunately don't take reservations so try going early whenever you can because the lines can get long Thursday-Sunday We ordered a few dishes with burrata on the side, the pasta and cheese was fresh, the vegetables were roasted well, and overall the food was satisfying. It's a self order place so you don't have to worry about your server not being attentive.
This place used to be very friendly. But lately, one of the guys working the counter has been fairly aggressive, certainly not the traditional experience I used to love.

Rossi's is THE deli in the Castro. The staff has been serving up sandwiches, deli meats and cheeses forever, and remember all the locals. Prices are great, and food is great! Definitely a once-a-week go-to spot! Thanks Rossi's Deli for the great quality all the time!
The sandwich’s and deli goods are delicious and well priced. I particularly love the German chocolate selection, especially around the holidays. There is not a single place in the Castro that can compete with these hard working folks. I constantly pick up breakfast and lunch from here weekly. :)
