Amazing food!! Delicious pasta’s and wine ? We very happy having diner at this place, although the waiters were friendly, they served the bill very quickly.

Went with a friend who recommended Roma Antica she said they made fresh pasta and I was sold. I had never had fresh pasta before so I was really excited to try it out.The pasta was DELICIOUS. I finished my plate in the one sitting which is rare for me to do at restaurants because I always seem to either get full or have some stomach issues such as bloating and stomach pain, but not this time. It’s a testament to the quality of the food. It’s authentic Roman cuisine. I had the pasta with black pepper and I’ve seen chefs make it on tv, but didn’t think I would actually have a chance to try it fresh, it was genuinely one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Come to think of it I probably should have asked to thank and see the chef, next time! Whoever you are I love you!!! The pasta was divine!I also ordered the beet salad because I love beets and they were great too. We were also given complimentary bread but we finished it before we could take a picture. They refilled the basket three times but we ate it all (this was for four people) it was that good.

Best Italian food I’ve had in SF in a while (I also haven’t lived in the Bay in a while). Carbonara was fantastic. Roman pizza was better than the one I had in Rome. Will be back!

The vibe and the service of the restaurant are great. However, the food is extremely disappointing. We arrived for a late dinner, ordered the Octopus appetizer, Rib Eye steak and Bronzino. Both three dishes are overtly oily. The octopus had plenty of arugula on top to balance out the oily-ness, which made it a palatable dish. The steak and the fish, unfortunately, only had equally oily vegetables on the side to compound the greasy after taste. The biggest sin of the whole dinner though is that we asked for a medium rare steak. and we got a completely well done rib eye (not even medium). As it was approaching their closing time, we didn’t ask for a re-fire. But it was unfortunate that the rib eye could have been a perfectly fine dish.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Very authentic experience. Chilly outside but they have nice heaters to keep you toasty.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and wound up eating lunch there twice. Both meals were excellent. We sat outside - they have blankets in each chair in case you are chilly! It is a neighborhood place - The restaurant staff knew people by name who were walking by. Illa was so kind and welcoming to us. She made our second lunch there truly memorable.

Me and my husband went to this beautiful restaurant for lunch. We were seated in their patio. The patio is lovely, they also give you a cute blanket to keep you warm while you enjoy the food. Our server Sara was full of vibrant energy, she gave us great vegetarian recommendations. We ordered Margherita pizza, Cacio E Pepe pasta, Tiramisu and Chocolate Mouse. We Loved all of the dishes. Highly recommend this place for a romantic meal.

What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said? If you want to taste authentic Italian food like you’ve just been transported into Rome city center then this is the spot. Prices are reasonable for SF. Much of the staff are from different regions of Italy so it makes the experience even more special. Try the polpo appetizer. The pasta is made fresh and al dente. It’s delightful and perfectly cooked with a side of sweet potatoes and arugula.Thank you Roberto for opening this little gem. I’ll be sure to visit the other restaurants also.

We did not have reservations yet and they were crowded and were ,able to sit our family AND dog rapidly. The food and atmosphere were wonderful

Best Italian food I've had. I would recommend the oxtail pasta, carbonara and burrata with prosciutto. It's like the quote from The Godfather, "Ravioli ravioli what's in the pocketoli?"
