My husband and I live a couple hours north of SF. We were in town to see The Empire Strips Back for our anniversary and wanted a really good sushi dinner. After some searches, we found Roka Akor, literally a short block from the theater. Service was fantastic and pleasantly swift, the food and drinks were excellent a- I particularly liked the Wagyu Kimchi dumplings, the nigiri combo, and the Roka Fashioned cocktail. We even received a sweet anniversary card and a surprise dessert! While a bit pricey, it was a good value for all we ate, drank, and for the excellent service. Roka Akor was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner and I recommend it highly as a special occasion destination.
