Love this place. ðAuthentic wonderful Italian food, lamb meatballs and spaghetti I could have every night.
Great food, great people! Crowded, being on a Saturday night, but not too noisy. The lasagna was just like the one I make myself at home, and the halibut was perfectly cooked and really tasty. We shared a fantastic strawberry salad, with arugula, orange, feta, fennel and cucumber, accompanied by the best bread in town. Great Nebbiolo wine, I loved it.

Aldo is the consummate host, cuisine connoisseur, and gentleman. He and his staff always prepare genuine Italian fare with the freshest ingredients and unnecessary complication. His wine list ranges from modest to extraordinary. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious with quiet sophistication. The waitstaff are Italian and, of course, knowledgeable about their native cuisine. We have dined here for many years and have always had a marvelous experience. Buon appetito!
Excellent food and service, owner is very attentive and making sure we have the best dining experience. I have the grilled octopus with cannelini bean salad, ravioli of the day with beets and both were an excellent choice. My hubby got the minestrone soup and veal which was so tender and delicious. The bread is the best as well crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside just perfect with olive oil dipping. Finale was the dessert of caramelized pear with gelato a perfect ending for an excellent dinner
This was my second time here. I had the Tonnarelli alla Capricciosa the first time & it was phenomenal! So I brought my boyfriend back to try it out, and again, both of our meals were fantastic. We ordered the evening special, a halibut steak, and the Scallopine di Vitello. This place is a homerum for Italian food.

Overheard a gentleman at a training mention this place. Looked it up and saw that it had five stars. Immediately made a reservation and was not disappointed. There was not one morsel left on our plates. There were three of us and we each ordered something different. Amazing! Whenever I come back to SF I will return to this place.
