FYI, This is a QR code place, so you don’t get any direct service and bus your own table.Went here w my bf for a late lunch. Drinks were nice, but food was a bit disappointing esp considering the price. Bf liked his sandwich, but the fried chicken one I got had almost no flavor. They were also slammed w/ what looked like only two guys working so food took a bit to come out and then we had to wait some more additional time after that for the drinks. Nice location to sit outside, people watch, and enjoy the weather though.
Best Philly cheesesteak! Big beer selection.
Great old-timey music! Interesting and unusual beer selection. Many sour options. I enjoyed my hard kombuchas very much, but on Friday at 6pm they were tapped out of 4 or 5 beers and my IPA-loving bf had more trouble finding a beer he liked. The parklet looked very nice and seemed like the most popular place to be. The indoor area is just fine—pretty spacious, poor acoustics, standard bar layout. The people next to us were on a romantic wine date, and it didn't seem like a good location for that. The bartenders were nice and helpful, but they seemed overwhelmed, and the server was in a lousy mood. Burger was yummy, chicken sandwich was okay. Tots were good, cheese fries came cold and other parts of our meal were not as warm as would've been ideal. We had to ask for napkins and scrounge our own ketchup from another table.Prices seemed a little high. You order by scanning a QR code at your table. It's possible to order directly at the bar if you don't want to do that/don't have a phone that can.I'm not unhappy that we went, but we probably won't go back.
great taphouse for a variety of beers and solid food to boot. lotsa sports on screens and fantastic staff. sometimes they're even playing bugs bunny which is magnificent. luv it! luuuv it!
I love this place! They have tons of great craft beers, bottomless mimosas on Saturdays, and really delicious food. On the weekends they get busy, but try to enjoy a happy hour or a weeknight where you can grab a table or a seat at the bar. The food is a bit pricey for a bar but the staff are super friendly and it's a good place overall!
Really great atmosphere, vibe, food, and good beer selection decently priced. But unfortunately not very friendly staff.
Big sense of entitlement. You bring in business and they behave as if they were doing you a favor. But, that is usually the case with many businesses in the Richmond district.1 - work on you service2 - definitely work on your attitude3 - you got 2 stars because your food is decent considering that you are a Brewpub.
Went here for a beer with family and friends. Good atmosphere, nice selection of beer. Bonus that it is Oct. and were showing a Halloween Movie and the new Chucky series.
Good local beer selection with outdoor seating. Easy, fast ordering with the QR code at the table. Prices seemed a bit high. We didn't order food, just a few rounds of drinks.
Living in union square its hard to make it outside of your familiar bubble. Really wherever you are from in SF its hard to leave that area for much of anything. But thanks to yelp and a free spirit I decided to explore the inner Richmond and it turned out to be a great decision.Republic is a great little bar located on Clement. This are some great establishments like Internos and Burma Superstar and some of the best crepes you will ever eat so you should give those a shot as well.Once inside Republic you are greeted with a main bar and a ton of beer glasses and wine glasses. The theme is very much beer here but if you want to take a shot at the wine there is a small list if you ask for it. The atmosphere was really great. The place was packed but you could still get a table if you had a good eye and patience. The lighting was something I also remember as being fun and decently bright. You don't have to feel like you are going into a dungeon to have a good time and I like that about this place.Once you go past the bar there is more seating and tvs to watch any game your heart desires. There are some stairs that lead up to another drinking area. This part can be rented out so there was a group celebrating up top. Really this set up is similar to a ton of different places in SF. Think Tunnel Top, HopWater, or Era Art Bar. The drinks were great, the people inside were fun and seemed to be having a good time. The music set a pleasant background. More than anything it didn't feel busy. Some places just make you feel like you are doing too much to grab a drink. This place was just relaxing enough to actual sit down and enjoy a drink. Sometimes you don't need the glitz and glitter to have fun time drinking. Checkout this place if you are ever in the Richmond area.
