This is really an epic experience for tea lovers. It’s a little pricey, but they do offer tastings for $9 a sample. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and eager to educate. Definitely a highlight of our San Francisco trip.

I was looking for a quality tea shop in San Fran and was happy I came across this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and unlike some of the other local shops, the tea canisters have all the info on them in regards to origin, description and flavor profile. Looking forward to trying the selections I purchased.

Sad changing times. I've been buying tea from here for about 10 years and moved out of state a while back.I stopped in the store to taste some teas, just like the good old days.Of course SF is now a completely, utterly trashed shell of its former self, well same for Red Blossom. The woman helping me was ice cold, rude, condescending and seemed bothered that I was in her store.Tea tastings are "unsafe", masks are still required in the store and all of the fun and joy are GONE BABY GONE.I just about walked out - it was that bad. This is probably the last time I will ever spend money on this business, RIP Red Blossom and the rest of the formerly amazing San Francisco.

Great little nook to buy prepackaged tea and teacup sets from China and Taiwan. Nice place for gifts. If you like floral jasmine tea, try the dragon pearl jasmine supreme.

Red Blossom has all of their teas pre packaged in specific sizes due to covid. One of the nicest things about this shop is that they offer sample sizes of all of their teas. This is a great way to try a bunch of teas and see what you like before purchasing it. However, the samples are much more expensive per gram than normal.

The premium tea flight was 35$. You can call in or go online to reserve. We had the premium tasting flight outside (10/18/2021). I would recommend bring a jacket because SF can get chilly. The tea flight had 5 teas total. The hosts who served the tea were really knowledgeable on the teas' history and flavors. You get a small cup to sample the teas and some cookies and chocolates for snacks. Plan for it to take about 30 to 40 minutes. The only thing I would recommend (besides a jacket) is to come with company. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience.

This place is awesome with a very knowledgeable staff.

Stumbled on this gem on a visit to SF walking through Chinatown! So glad I did!I wish I remembered his name but the person I spoke to was so knowledgeable about tea, I ended up getting a sample of an oolong honey tea that was delicious, and taking a puerh tea to steep myself when I got home! Great experience - would totally recommend for tea enthusiasts.

Wow. Be prepared to drop some serious money on likely the most premiere tea importer on the west coast that is open to the public. Loose leaf is pre bagged for freshness and various sizes and varieties can be found for most. If you are a serious tea drinker or want to buy a nice gift for one, read their website and go with loose purse strings.Tea by the cup and tea flights are also available, ask upon arrival or call ahead.

High quality tea and lots of variety. Tea nerd's paradise.
