On our way to Alcatraz and we were pressed for time. Needed to get in and out quickly and honestly grabbed what was on the way. Food came out quick, order was spot on (we had a big group), and everything tasted great. It is always nice when you need hit a home run and you do.
The café is just next to Alcatraz boats point. Food is tasty, prices ok and no need to walk far when hungry after Alcatraz visit.
Best place for spectacular Mark Wien. You know the food spectator. That goes all around the world. He definitely miss this place. When he went to San Francisco California. He needs to go back. Louisiana style Cajun food. Needs to go there and check out this restaurant. The brown people, Cajun food not that it makes a difference. But you need to try this one. YUMMY YUMMY YUM.❗❗❗❗????????????????
The BEST. This is where Tourist should go. It is well worth the inexpensive pricing. Every thing tastes incredible. My favorites are the Calamari/ Fries, and the catfish sandwich. Totally Louisiana flavor… Laid Back style, indoor/outdoor seating. Lg TV monitors and adult drinks can be prepared at the bar. Now this represents San Francisco
We spend a lot of time in NOLA and I can tell you this place is the real deal! Although the Beignets were not really comparable they were still good. The chicken tenders, of all things, were some of the best I've ever had - anywhere. We were expecting a tourist trap and instead found a delicious go-to when in SF!
Great place to grab lunch (and avoid the Pier 39 crowds) after visiting Alcatraz.
Lovely little place. Good sandwich..... Although it was a little too sour for my taste. I got the Spicy Chicken Poboy.... Next time. I'd probably get the non spicy version and add hot sauce myself. Good portions and it cost about $15 for sandwich on a bed of fries.
Staff was So kind to my special kiddo. Very good location. Food came fast and hot. Super delicious. Price was reasonable being in SF! Even sitting indoors, felt open on a nice breezy day.

Fantastic stop after the Alcatraz tour. The fish tacos were amazing, a great piece of battered fish in each taco!! It's too bad the side guac was a bit spicy, because it also tasted very good.The shrimp poboy was huge, the size of a forearm, loaded up with so many fried shrimps, they were tumbling out.Friendly staff and nice open atmosphere complete the mood.Excuse me while I enjoy some fresh made beignets...
