Service is a hit or miss. Tonight was horrible, with an incredibly rude server who took the orders for 2-3 parties who came in after me. Tamales are mediocre—there were two small cuts of pork at the very corner of the tamal. The pupusas were quite sad with rubbery cheese and overly oily. I was surprised at how the low quality of the food, as if the plates sat for a while before being distributed, especially when we waited for so long for our order. In this neighborhood, half-measured attempts don’t cut it. Time to find a decent pupuseria.
The chicken soup is amazing. Taste is perfect and so fresh
Couldn't tell you if this is authentic or not but it's always busy and the papusa is delicious. We've always done take-out which is easily a 20min wait so best to call in your order in advance. We always order more papusas than we plan to eat so we can have for the next day. Ask for extra salsa and cabage slaw.

What's saltier than some of these disgruntled reviews? Papuseria Metapan's food.Went for dinner and waited 45 minutes after ordering. Finally got three papusas, rice, and beans; the papusas were cooked well, decent amount of filing, not too greasy. But as other reviewers have mentioned, everything was salty. The beans were overtly salty to the point of being inedible (I thought perhaps it was a sauce at first) but the Cole slaw, rice, corn, and even the salsa sauce had too much salt.

Expensive, atol de elote, no good no taste of corn or something. Papaya horrible seca no recaudo. My friend i think she ordered chile relleno. Samething. 3rd time in 2 years food no good, customer service, Yes. Very nice ladies.
