Had a wonderful meal. Seafood Jambalaya was pretty good. They didn’t skimp on the seafood and the price was right.

We were in the area and decided to try something different than what we typically do for lunch. Got here around 12:30 PM and were seated right away. It was a very nice day out so we decided to sit outside in the shade. There were a couple of tables outside (mainly 2 people tables but they did make a 6 people table for a bigger party). There were a few bar seating inside and some additional seating inside as well.We ordered the fried Okra, the jambalaya with chicken and andouille sausage and fried chicken combo. For drinks, we got swamp water ice tea and the Abita lager. I have never eaten Okra before so not sure how this compares to others but their fried Okra was great! It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The way that I would describe the soft Okra texture is kind of like eating a fried pepper without the spice since there were seeds in it. The jambalaya was very flavorful and generously portioned. The chicken was slightly over cooked for my taste but the dish overall is still great. My husband’s fried chicken combo was great. The chicken was flavorful and crunchy. The collard greens was also flavorful and not just plain. The mash potatoes were great! You can tell there is quite a bit of butter in it, which is how I love my mashed potatoes. The swamp water ice tea was very good and refreshing! It came with a variety of fruits (strawberry blueberry and sliced oranges). It also was not overly sweet at all. Service was great! The waiter and waitress came to check on us a couple of times.

I have been there several times and every time it was so good! They deserve more than 5 stars, I wish I could rate more. The seafood jambalaya is amazing. The chicken wings, fried chicken combo plate, shrimp and grits, and poboy sandwich were other meals I have tried and loved. I will definitely be back.

11/10 across the board and one of the best meals we've had in SF. Don't sleep on it!Excellent fried chicken and okra, awesome salad, great service. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Thanks for having us!

Best chicken I’ve had in San Francisco. Small menu so I trust they actually put love into their food and know what they’re doing. Wonderful service, definitely will come back here

Overall decent local restaurant. For it being their namesake, I was not a fan of their "po boy". It's not noted on the menu, so be aware that the po boys are served on dutch crunch rolls instead of Louisiana french bread, a combination that I don't think works well together. That said, the fried chicken inside of my po boy was quite good! And the fries were also good.I've also had the fish and chips here, which I thought were great on the contrast! Super crispy fish served on top of a bed of super crispy fresh fries and a hearty side of cole slaw. Whoever is working the frier is doing a great job!My last note is on the atmosphere. Decor and vibes are good here, but both times I visited in the winter and the windows and front door were propped open. It was really cold at my table even with a jacket on. Maybe these are precautions for covid, but something to consider if you plan to dine in.

We went Poboys Kitchen while visiting San Francisco. We had hurricans and loved it! Their Poboys sandwiches and fried chicken were awesome. We will definitely be back when are in San Francisco again! ♥️

Best jambalaya I’ve ever had!! Po boy shrimp sandwich and fries are really great too! Grab a seat at the bar and enjoy a chat with the owner, such a kind and lovely man!

Nice out door ambience Delicious Southern Cuisine friendly staff & nice neighborhood.

It was our first time here. The alligator Po’Boy sandwiches were very delicious, we enjoyed ourselves. Next time we’ll try the jambalaya.
