Best Chinese food in San Francisco l. Seriously. Fresh veggies even the peas in the fried rice are fresh. So great!
I would give this a 3.5 if it were possible. The menu has a ton of vegetarian options. I tried the vegetarian curry puff, mango panang curry, rad nar and the roti dessert. The mango panang was amazing. The curry puff was good (good flavor and crispy) but I missed a sauce on the side. I did not like the rad nar at all since it was too bland. The roti dessert was good (crispy flaky bread topped with condensed milk and sugar, can't go wrong ?). This was too much food for two since the portion sizes are big. The decor was nice but the food was served with paper plates and plastic utensils which might throw off some.
Don't listen to the haters, this place rocks. The family is so nice, the food is great and it's a good price!!!
A constant favorite for us, especially during the pandemic. Get the green curry and pad Thai!
They didn’’t allow my friend’s service dog in. It is a proper service dog (DAD). Under the american law we could not be denied service. However, I explained that to the owner, he said he did not care and we had to leave.I could have fought for it, but I would be so concerned of them spitting on our food that I rather leave.
Been going here since I was 4 or 5 years old. 20 years later still come of the best Thai food in sf. Cozy restaurant, really kind staffA really special place to eat at
I ordered delivery yesterday evening. I had the imperial spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, and vegetarian pad Thai. None of the dishes were edible. The rolls were obviously from a bag of frozen Cisco products. There was no crunch on the outside, the inside was mush, and the ingredients indistinguishable. The wings were deep fried and slathered in spicy maroon sauce with no flavor profile other than spicy. I tried adding soy and Trader Joe’s Thai dipping sauce to give it some flavor but it didn’t help. I ate one wing and tossed the rest. They were that bad. Pad Thai noodles were oily, vegetables were over cooked, mushy, and old. Almost like it had been sitting around awhile and was microwaved before being sent out. Tossed it, too. And I hate tossing food! Disappointed, wasted $45, and won’t be ordering from them again.
Good food and very nice staff!
Ploy 2 is our gold standard , the bar that we hold all other Thai restaurants to. The food is delicious, the atmosphere in this Victorian apartment that's been converted to a restaurant is adorable and the family that owns and runs the restaurant are as sweet as can be.
Great food, beautiful seating, and just overall loved it staff are so nice and even ask for any allergies a customer may have. Definitely will come back?
