This is a cool place. They even accept dogs. They have doggy treats at the front door.
The employees are all quite rude here! I went into the store with another guy, he was in front of me but the cashier took his order and had me waiting for 5 plus minutes before taking my order (like why not take my order as well?) that alright not a big deal waiting. Then when they called our my order, I went to the bar and I don’t see a drink with my name on it. So I asked one of the baristas I heard my name which one is it, she is like it’s right there (pointing towards the 10+ drinks pile) I am like non of these drinks got my name on it, shes like whats your name I said Quince, shes like Quincy? I said maybe but I said Quince when I ordered (like who knows maybe theres a Quincy who ordered a drink), she then goes yea thats yours then. The whole time she was being super rude and annoyed about it, whats wrong with that I just don’t want to take the wrong drink without my name on it. The employees are also talking super loud behind the bar. This is one of the worse locations I’ve been but I do feel like most of the staff and drink quality from other locations also gone down.

Great location, big airy room with lots of seating and outlets, sunny outdoor seating. Coffee is obviously amazing. Foods pricey but pretty good. I would say great place to do work, the only con being the place is pretty loud. Baristas all look like they're having a great time and they love their jobs, which I'm all for, but that can make for a pretty loud environment. That, on top of the music playing throughout the whole store, and the sound of grinding coffee beans, you definitely need headphones, and you shouldn't take any meetings where you'll be expected to have your mic on. Overall, great spot, highly recommend.
First time customer. Lady at the counter gave me a pastry of my choice on the house and also was very kind sweet and definitely is a wonderful added personality to this company along with the gentleman who actually prepared and served my drink for me I definitely would love to come back here again when I'm in town.
Skilled barristas here, pleasant atmosphere, outdoor seating, and I noticed a chess ♟️ set
This is my favorite spot in the entire city. I have one of cup of coffee everyday - and I prefer to get it from this spot. They have it down to the T. Love the crew and their mad brewing skills.
The staff here are all kind, welcoming and make the drinks perfect each time.
I always enjoyed visiting tons of these locations all over San Francisco and the bay area. They have great ambience, and it’s a really great place to study and work and just chat with friends. Also, I absolutely love some of the drinks like the chais, the mint tea, the Julie’s ultimate drink (wonder why ) and the decaf options! I am sensitive to caffeine, so I enjoy drinking half caffeine or decaf options. And Philz never ceases to disappoint me.
Their twice baked almond croissant is pretty good but it seems like they are consistently over cooked to the point half the croissant crumbles away and not into my mouth. LOL
