Decent cheesesteak. They had whiz, which you don't see all the time.
This place WAS the gold standard for a large part of, if not the entire bay area outside of Philly when the original owners opened this place. I'm not from Philly but I've spent weeks there while at conferences and made it a point to try about a dozen different places there to get a taste of what they serve.We'd drive the entire family out just to eat there, it WAS that good. After it was sold some years back it has been nothing but a steady decline in product quality and product offerings.They got rid of the authentic (albeit pricier) authentic Philly soda and variety of chips from back east. They got rid of the great choices of peppers and Gardiniera, and the quality of meat also took a nosedive.Sadly we just don't even bother going and I would never send anyone I know there, and I won't send you.
I had the classic and cross cross fries. Unfortunately, neither were good, just passable.Staff were friendly.I do not recommend, much better options for similar price point in the vicinity.

The best? No way! Frozen steak like a Steakum from yesteryear. It’s not the cleanest place I’ve ever seen either. I had the 12” Steak and cheese with Garlic mayo. I had to ask the cook to put gloves on after the previous cook put them on without asking. Try somewhere else IMO

Open late, for late night. Staff are nice. Food tasted okay. Onion rings were crispy. Sandwich was ok, maybe I shouldn't used a different cheese - I had provolone. Chicken wings were juicy and tasted great with the sauce and blue cheese dressing, but I would've preferred it just a tad more cooked.
This place had the best Philly cheese steaks i have had in a long time highly recommend this place
