This place has been here as long as I can remember it's very good I usually get the ribs and chicken
They don't make them like this no more. What SF and the Mission were all about... leaving more-than-well-enough alone rather than desperately trying to look busy by tearing every last thing down in order to build again in a generally equivalent over processed style like New York.
I've eaten here 30 years ago and like some reviews say, while th place has changed quite a bit, the food pretty much stayed the same. Still a good place to hang out with your friends or take out.
I began eating here over 40 years ago and although the restaurant has changed hands over the years the food is still good, probably the best BBQ in the Mission.
Great price and food. Only cash tho, worth it.

Friendly staff but don’t order the sandwich unless you enjoy old, tough, and lukewarm meat. The place smelled great so I was very disappointed when I took a bite into my sandwich.
