Just awesome food. Nice menu selection for casual dining. Was a bit concerned it would not be a casual place. We ordered the pot roast filet mignon and kids grilled cheese. For dessert a brownie with ice cream. Not inexpensive but very good.
We stayed at the hotel next door, so the restaurant was very convenient. We had lunch outside, excellent food & service. We also ended our busy days with a drink at the bar, bartenders were great!
How can you beat sitting outside looking at the Bay Bridge? Fantastic service and high quality food and libations. The food is reasonably priced -- especially in this economy (and it being a SF restaurant). This is my new favorite restaurant.
The chicken in the CBLTA was burned. The corned beef in the Ruben was burned. The French Onion Soup was prepared a few days ago and tasted like it. They were very busy and the food was late, way late.

Request outdoors and was seated at table facing the wall next to the door, paint pealing from wall, music speakers above our heads blaring and the menu that was posted online was not the menu they were actually serving from (our waiter said thst it was brunch so some of the regular items not available but there was not a âbrunchâ menu posted online. Super disappointing experience with the food and ambiance.
Southwest chicken salad and Cobb salad of my table mate: both were very good. Portions were satisfying for 2 average sized males. Good choice of beers on tap. Great place to meet a friend for lunch. Close to Bart and bus. Outdoor seating is possible.

A great selection of flavorful American bistro choices from appetizers to salads to mains. Full bar available. Friendly and fast service. Generous portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Nice ambiance and not too loud during lunchtime. A solid choice for a classic spot!
