The calamari, frijoles negros and yuca fries were yummy
Excellent Mexican food. They start you with three salsas and chips, which are delicious. I had a carnitas super burrito, also very good. Friendly staff and a very attractive interior. They have a full bar as well. Definitely the place to for Mexican classics if you're on the north side of Protrero Hill.
Our local SF friend took us there for dinner, promising a treat. And we were not disappointed. The sangria was fresh, flavorful. The corn on cob smeared with some sauces was delicious. The tacos were fun, ceviche very tasty and the pozole was delightful - light and flavorful. A small restaurant with nice decor and a vibrant atmosphere.
One of the best Hispanic restaurants I’ve been to. The 3 complimentary spices with chips are all SO good in diverse ways, the meats in their entree’s are genuinely well made, and the quantity is surprisingly alot. And super friendly attendants and owners to top it off. My go-to in SF.
Great outdoor parklet seating! I got the taco salad with skirt steak and my boyfriend got the carne asada wet burrito - both were delicious and massive!
Must visit restaurant. Drinks were ver fresh. Tried the Me,cal old fashioned. Smokey with their own infused Mezcal. My wife tried the Margarita. Excellent setvice from Jess! I had pork tacos with pe high pickled red czbbage. It was great. Wife had the super vegeterian burrito. All fresh tasty vegtables. Endedcwoth s perfect flan. We were visiting from Hawaii and craving mexican food.
One of the best burritos I've had in SF.Got the carnitas super burrito. Ingredients were noticeably better quality and more fresh than the typical burrito place. Carnitas were good, not the best, but the whole package came together really well. I also liked the salsas on the side.It is a bit pricier than the typical burrito spot but you're getting better quality ingredients and a nice ambience if you choose to dine in. Good, friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back

Truly the best burrito I’ve ever had, but that’s really not what this review is about (which says a lot because the burrito was unreal). The service was incredible. My waiter was the friendliest, most attentive server I’ve had in a very long time. He went above and beyond to make the experience an A+ by explaining the menu, giving pro tips on how to tackle the massive burrito, and kept the drinks topped off at all times. The food was beyond anything you could hope for. If you’re a tourist looking for an iconic mission style burrito or a local looking for your top spot, look no further. I cannot recommend enough.
