Low key, no frills, non-corporate delight. “Only” about 16 different flavours, but stunningly good ice cream (only equalled by Mariannes in Santa Cruz). Tucked away in The Cannery at the beach end of the Fisherman’s Wharf strip. It’s a must.
Halo halo and amazing ice cream!The owners are so, so friendly, and they serve the Filipino classic halo halo w/ ube ice cream. I'd recommend the grasshopper pie and banana ice creams, we ended up coming here far too often on our trip, wish we had one near us!
Looks like it’s been a minute since they changed the promo ads….but if you know food you know if they’ve got sun bleached photos that promo means it’s a mom and pop more worried about making delicious eats than changing out the signage. Loved this spot and they were so friendly. A must check out spot especially if you don’t want to stand in the massive line nearby just to get some Ghirardelli chocolate mixed into ice cream lol
I don't know why anyone would go to Ghirardelli and pay their prices. This little Ice Cream shop is GREAT!!! The ice cream was delicious, the price reasonable and the guy that owns it, was delightful. It's a little hard to find in the Del Monte Cannery Mall at the corner of Jefferson and Leavenworth, but it's worth the effort.
We came to Norman’s and were really impressed. We all got a single scoop in a cup (Mango, Pistachio, Oreo Cookie and Chocolate Caramel Crackle) and all flavours were really rich. The servers were really friendly and I can see why this place is rated so high even though it’s tucked away! Definitely recommend if you’re in the Fisherman’s Wharf area.
Wonderful ice cream shop. Excellent customer service. We were greeted by the owners with a friendly smile. They offered to put sprinkles at no additional cost on my daughters ice cream. Love supporting a small business like this.
The BEST ice cream with the sweetest owners! Much more affordable for families than Ghirardelli and Dryers. A little hard to find, but there are signs posted along The Cannery on walls and sidewalks. Skip the big-name spots and support this amazing little shop!
