Very friendly staff. I got a few cupcakes which were cute but they didn't taste great. I also got a few cookies which said they were milk chocolate chip and they didn't taste like milk chocolate chip. Disappointed because milk chocolate cookies vs semi sweet chocolate cookies taste very different. Will not return.
I got a dozen cupcakes for mother's day and they were delicious! My favorite were the pink champagne ones.
Their baked goods are consistently good and they have great variety. And their espresso is also legit good. I also love that they offer savory options - I don't always want something sweet and a good quiche is hard to find. And they'll warm it up for you! Next level service!
They have excellent pastries. We have tried so many of their stuff and nothing has ever disappointed us so far. Almond croissant, savory artichoke tile, brown butter blueberry muffins are some of our favs
I mean, if they actually made the cake that I ordered and paid for a week before I was to pick it up, then I could review it. But when I arrived for pick up, the fellow that was helping me couldn’t find said cake. He apologized and told me I could “just pick out a different one”. Um, no, I told him. I ordered a confetti cake for a 7 year old with purple flowers, she did not want a strawberry cream or salted caramel cake. I asked him to call the other location to see if they had any but was told they didn’t. I have worked in customer service my entire life and don’t see the point in getting angry at the people working, especially if it wasn’t their direct fault. HOWEVER, to offer a meek apology and then tell me to “just pick out a different one” without offering a gift card or an ample amount of pastries, or some kind of compensation, was appalling. Needless to say, I walked out empty handed and immediately called Susie Cakes. They had a cake ready in less than 2 hours.Lesson learned, I will NEVER order from Noe Valley Bakery again and Susie Cakes has a customer for life.

The ginger lemon bread was great toasted and smeared with cream cheese. The individual pastries were beautiful and good too albeit a bit on the expensive side but well made and worth it. Overall a good bakery with a nice selection to satisfy that sweet tooth. Sandwiches were perfect to consume on the outside tables with a beverage and finished happily with one of the baked items.
One of the best bakery’s in SF. Adjusts its menu in time for the holidays. Try their twice baked almond croissants.
Not much of a cake person but this was an exception. I got the salted caramel cake. It was decadent, moist and rich. It wasn't overly sweet and the cake itself was moist but not annoyingly moist where it just sticks inside your mouth.Order ahead or be there earlier because it is first come first serve. Also ask about allergens my homie and his pops broke out in hives. They still enjoyed the cake ???
Pizza croissant good, scone ok, almond croissant excellent, fruit tart ok
