Dine In and Take Out quality is very different. Dining in they provide you the full amount of portion and each thing in the menu is enough to feed two people. I love this place but I will not be ordering take out anymore. I ordered the chili fried chicken & the chili to chicken ration for my take out order is very different from the usual dine in portion. I know this because I live on Taraval and I go here twice a month. Look at the picture and how much chili is left in the container mind you I ate most of it while they gave me 10 pieces of Popcorn Chicken. You can literally go to Teazo 3 mins away and order popcorn chicken for $5 and it would 3x the amount. Writing this review so hopefully the owners of this restaurant can know that the locals do pay attention to this, get it together.

My husband and I had Mr. Szechuan on our first night in San Francisco. We were presently surprised when the staff brought us a pot of tea, which was much needed for us on that windy and chilly evening. My husband ordered the Szechuan Lamb and rice and I had the soup dumplings. The food was delicious. The lamb had just the right amount of heat to it without it being overwhelming and the dumplings were little bites of heaven. So glad that we stopped in and would recommend this place to anyone.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in SF. Very good quality delicious food with big portions and polite service. I find some of the food here to have better flavors and overall better preparation than other similar places nearby. A little overpriced but I always cave in. As other reviews have mentioned, this place is unique being ran by the younger generation and there is a lot of attention to detail.

This restaurant is my favorite. The food here is fantastic.

Chinese food in a clean environment. Also take-away. The food was not bad. The waitress from China did not speak English very well.

Overall pretty tasty. Ma la tang was very spicy ?. Pepper fish - the fish was not that fresh.

Four dishes we ordered were above average. Service was good and the place was fairly clean.very friendly atmosphere. Fairly safe at around 10 pm due to adequate lighting with heavy traffic. We like the late hours since other surrounding food places closed at 9 or 9:30 on weekends. We were happy to eat there tonight and we definitely will go back there to try other dishes.

Without question the best dry pot in San Francisco! The staff here is so kind and friendly. The menu is quite broad - though the dry pot is my favorite, don’t sleep on the veggie dishes, desserts, or tea drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Side note, the portions are very generous here, and we definitely ordered too much food for two people. It was quite affordable, as a lunch.Specifically, the dandan noodles were great, best part of the meal. The wontons were solid, though the chili oil was a little sweeter than I expected. The fish in chili oil was very mild and bland compared to other restaurants I've been to in the past. The complimentary tea for the table was very drinkable, I had many cups. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

Heard a lot of good things about the food here so I decided to give it a shot.Having waited for a good 20 minutes to make some orders but nobody came to me, I had no choice but to leave the restaurant :( don’t think I will ever come back.
