Very generous scoops and super sweet shop owner.My friends got the waffle ice cream cones which were PACKED with ice cream, and I got a root beer float with 4 scoops (when it was only supposed to be two!).Another friend got a pistachio shake (you can get any flavor made into a shake). Float was good but very jealous of the tradition cones my friends got. If I find myself in San Francisco again, I will definitely be back.Prices were stellar, I only wish the sandwich part of the shop was open on Sundays! Do yourself a favor and visit this great spot.

Happened upon this place while wandering SF. Fun ambiance and tasty ice cream. Fellow behind the counter was the owner who stayed open a few minutes late for me.The ice cream was cold but my heart was melted.

I can't say enough good things about this family run business. It has convinient parking at safeway.The wait can be long but it is worth the cost of 3.95 for a Sandwich and 2 sides in SF.I recommend the pastrami sandwich.You can also buy candy and ice cream inside.I also recommend getting a poki bowl across the street if you're just stopping by for the ice cream.
