We stumbled on this place by accident, and my kids and I were so happy we did. Not only we was the food amazing (the brisket was smoked perfectly) but the service was even better. Rather than being treated like tourists, ( which we most obviously were) we were treated like family. The entire staff was helpful and nice , however, it was our waiter who tipped the scales from friendly and competent to spoiled and cared for. He showed my 4 year old son so much kindness that he will remember the experience for the rest of his life, and my 16 year old daughter walked away saying that our visit there had been the highlight of our day. When in The City, Memphis Minnie's is now a required stop for my family!!

While we were in San Francisco on Haight Street we tried an awesome BBQ joint called Memphis Minnie’s. Their BBQ tasted AMAZING. Everything on their menu looked totally delicious. If your ever in San Francisco and want great BBQ give Memphis Minnie’s a try you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Oh man! ?DELICIOUS!!? I smoke bbq back in SD, im here for work and had to try the bbq here in SF. This spot left me wanting more brisket! Hit my craving spot for Tritip! The beans were awesome and came with meat chucks, great little treat. Over heard they smoke with White Oak, super impressed you can smell it from down the street. Definitely coming back and buying by the pound. ???????
I'm very upset, I ordered the two items combos and not only was it very greasy and throwing together. The sauce was in hot food that spill all in the box and not flavor at all. I'm just very upset not happy about this order that I throw it in trash.
We love the chili fry. They are a mean on to themself.
the meats were delicious, not the potato salad. the corn bread was of the sweet variety. I'm from the south and we don't prepare our turnip greens like theirs but they were okay.
