We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a party of 8. The menu was great and had something for everyone. Each course was well prepared with generous portions. Several of the diners had two appetizers instead of an entree.The service was particularly good. We never felt rushed, bread and water was replenished frequent, and we felt very cared for.We’ve eaten at Mathilde several times before Covid. Unlike other restaurants there service has only got better.

Food and service were good. A friendly neighborhood feel and convenient location. This place has been here for a long time, you can sit inside or out back under a tent which is nice on warmer nights.

Steak frites, coq au vin, tarte tatin, all were perfect. Service was lovely, friendly but never overly familiar. The covered patio was comfortable on a warm summer evening.
