Best matcha on the west coast! A must visit when in SF or Honolulu. My only advice would be to fill the cups a little better, the portions can be inconsistent from time to time.Delicious boba and lychee options as well ?
The boba sundae w/ matcha and vanilla swirl was out of this world! The boba was soft and chewy and paired well with the supreme flavor of the matcha soft serve. Plus, they add matcha powder to the sundae which just adds to the taste and quality.
We’ve been to Matcha Cake Maiko 3 times now and it never disappoints. The Matcha soft serve is definitely one of the best that we’ve had, and you get a lot of ice cream for the price. The Matcha-Vanilla twist is a nice way to ease yourself into Matcha soft serve since you still get the sweetness of the Vanilla but the full Matcha soft serve has become our favourite recently for its deep and rich matcha flavour. I absolutely loved this Black sesame-Matcha ice cream. There's a line which moves pretty quickly. The staff are friendly and quick and they do multi-tasking efficiently. I definitely recommend giving it a try. ???

I always stop by or make a detour to get a dessert from here. Service is typically very quick. There is always matcha and vanilla favored soft serve and two other flavors that cycle every month. Everything tastes fresh and not too sweet.
It was a great experience to get to this place full of flavor, if you visit San Francisco you have to come and try the gold macha ice cream! you will love it guaranteed! Nice customer service , was fast and friendly.
So good!!! We had vanilla w strawberry syrup, green tea w boba and ube & jasmin swirl cone. Everything was good even waffle cone.
I have been to the one in Japan town as well. Both are amazing. Great variety of matcha. I tried the matcha parfait with vanilla and matcha ice cream here and it was great.
I really liked the ice cream and mochi. Matcha flavor is strong but not bitter. It was great!
