It was just okay. Our party would probably not return. The Fajitas had very little taste. The tacos were edible but nothing special. The service was not great.
This place is amazing. As soon as I sat down Mario behind the bar greeted me; made me feel super welcome. I ordered a spicy Paloma, and it's probably the best one I've had in a while, and he doesn't taking the rim, he tajin's half the frickin' glass which is awesome. Then they brought out chips and guacamole or green sauce of some sort. It was nice somewhat thick texture, tart and flavorful, (nithing worse than a bland sauce)but the CHIPS, the chips kinda stole the show, which is odd. I just have never tasted chips that freshly toasted out of the oven before.I asked for more sauce, and he brought it right away with a whole new batch of chips. And the bacon wrapped1 poppers were excellent, and not your ordinary out of the freezer poppers. These bad boys were clearly made in the kitchen and they didn't disappoint. Compliments to the chef.Mario, without asking me, brought me a shot of their frozen passion fruit margaritas slushy. And that was also really really great. Wish I was hungrier, and didn't get buzzed so quick, but can't wait to go back. Great casual, spot for friends, family or a fun date with excellent, well, everything!P.s. almost forgot about the quesabirria. It was perfect. So good, just get it.
Love this place! Food is absolutely incredible, and service is top notch. The general manager and owner are typically always around as well, which gives the place a nice neighborhood vibe on a personal level. We love the outdoor seating too! Huge selection of tequila and mezcal and the employees are extremely knowledgeable. Easily our favorite go to Mexican restaurant in San Francisco!
Excellent food and service. Too bad the manager could not process both of our credit card when we have been able to use them everywhere in SF!

Overpriced and extremely rude, what I believe to be manager. Sat outside and ordered a margarita, water, chips and salsa before our tacos. The place was not really busy. It took forever to receive any items and when we asked for water, for the 3rd time, very politely, it was slammed down on the table. My husband again, kindly said thank you 2x and it was ignored and not responded to. I had high hopes and was let down. Tacos were interesting and had potential.
Found this place through OpenTable. Food was delicious. Service was great. The queso fundido, mole enchiladas, flan, and churros were my favorite. They have hand made tortillas which is major plus. I would go back.
