Located on the edge of Japantown on the second floor of a shopping center. Very small location but it’s worth the wait. Their spicy ramen is one of my favorites. Very attentive service. Fair prices for good portions. Family friendly but tight seating. Large groups would be tough.
Having eaten ramen all along the east and west coast, I can comfortably say that this is top 5 in my books. The service and food is amazing. The noodles are thinner than what I am accustomed to but still perfect with the refined broth. I did wish the chasudon had some light soy sauce added to help assist mixing the bowl together.
The place was packed, but my wife and I only had to wait a few minutes to get seated. The servers are extremely polite and extremely attentive. Our food was delivered to us quickly, and everything was perfect. When leaving it felt like every team member thanked us for eating there. It was a fabulous experience, and I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys ramen.
Best Ramen I’ve ever had! Service was excellent and food was delivered promptly. I ordered my Ramen spicy and it had a very delicious flavor. I recommend going to the next level of spice if you like spicy food. Definitely will be increasing the spice level next time I go. The pork belly was so tender and melted in my mouth. The noodles were perfectly cooked and so was the egg. Absolutely stunning experience I can’t wait to go back!
Really good food with fun relaxing atmosphere. We had the mild chicken broth with a boiled egg perfectly done,when cut would spread the yolk in the already amazing broth. The spiciness was just perfect and could've had more heat! Staff fast and attentive! Great experience!
I read online that this must be the best Ramen in SFO and I was not disappointed. While the wait time is pretty long (use yelp to book a spot before showing up) food was so good and the service was so fast and efficient. The restaurant is in the Japanese shopping centre west where you can check other stops or perhaps a desert afterwards (Matcha ice cream or donuts yummy)
First time trying this place. The serving bowls are huge! We had several people in our group that were vegetarian and wanted the crepes next door instead. Please note they do not allow you to bring in other food. We had to wait until they finished eating the crepes so we could be seated. The ramen was okay. I would not say it’s the best I’ve had. It might be because I woke up with bad stomach issues that night after eating it. May had been the raw egg I’m not sure. My stomach isn’t usually sensitive. Or it could of just been something unrelated. The service was excellent! Our waitress was amazing! We didn’t finish our ramen. Wasn’t use to a lot of stew in ramen. But the broth was tasty. We mostly ate the ramen out of it and left a lot of the broth. It’s worth to try if you have never been. It’s a neat place.
Best ramen I've had in San Francisco! Id recommend getting in early because this location fills up fast. I arrived around 4:30pm and the restaurant was full by 5pm on a Wednesday! The service was extremely friendly and very efficient. The server was able to produce the bill immediately upon being asked and they had consistently checked in and refilled my glass. Would highly recommend to everyone!
Absolutely amazing!I love Ramen and don’t usually like it at all the restaurants but this was special!We tried the Spicy Chicken Paitan and the Tofu one.Both were super yum. You could feel the freshness of the ingredients.Must try if you are in town!
Was visiting San Francisco and had an amazing dinner here with friends. I got the plum juice and it was delicious and they had lots of fun flavors. The service was also super fast!!
