Good service, had a massive calzone which was ok and took about 30 min to make, the pastry was not as good as the regular slice but overall solid spot with great pizza options
This place has gone down hill. I’ve been ordering slices for yrs and always a happy customer. However the past couple times not so much. I ordered a very expensive pizza last night and it was yet another complete disappointment. No love. The pizza was way over sauced so much so the two ingredients didn’t hold slipped right off the pizza. So messy. The dough was undercooked. I was specific with my order( little to no sauce). Anyway we ended up not eating it.What a bummer. I won’t be going back. Sorry guys.
Cheap and delicious - great for lunch on the go! Plenty of veggie options.
Went to this amazing place after a soccer tourney. The food was insane. Defiantly get the buffalo chicken and pastrami pizzas. Yes pizzas! They will not disappoint. Sports on every TV, games for the kids and ice cold beers. What a winner. Hoping to have more soccer in the area to get to go back. Super friendly staff too!!!! A must go to.
Go here when I visit my brothers go to spot for pizza good food, great service and friendly staff! A lot of food and reasonably priced also great atmosphere inside of want to eat in. Will continue toGo here when I'm in town and we're in the mood for Italian!
The Sicilian style slices are a great thickness and crunch doughy resistance texture.Single slices get extra cooking which makes it better than a whole pie.
Tried to snag a slice but I had my bike with me and no lock so I brought my bike in with me. They proceeded to tell me I couldn't bring my bike in so I put it in there little hallway and they tell me I can't leave it there either. So I tell them the situation (I have no lock) and they tell me "THEY DON'T CARE, I have to leave my bike on the rack outside" where anyone could steal it. Mind you its 9pm and only a few people are inside so its not like the place is packed. In the end it worked out cause I got better pizza from mystic pizza in the lower haight (oh and I was able to bring my bike in no problem and they had twice as many people inside).
I don't write reviews often, but tried this place twice because it seems to be ran by Puerto Ricans, and I wanted it to be good. I won't be returning for a 3rd experience. Food was packaged poorly both times (half the ingredients were forever stuck to sweaty knock off wax paper), used low quality ingredients (best comparison I can think of is a public gradeschool cafeteria in a bad neighborhood) and just overall tasted and smelled off. Will say it's cheaper than other pizza places that are just as bad, so I gave them a star for that. The other two stars are for Puerto Rican guilt.
Always love this place when I'm in San Francisco. They've been around 50 years and definitely know what they're doing. I'm a fellow pizzeria owner and always look for great family owned pizzerias when I travel, and this is one of my top favorites! Love their Sicilian pizza!!!
Within gentrified Castro one of the more affordable places to go for a quick bite. You can order pizzas as a whole or in slices. Calzones are available but take 25-45min. Indoor seating is limited to 10ish seats or so. Staff is friendly, pizza tastes great usually.
