Mannys is a great coffee shop since it is one of the few that has a sense of community. They regularly have events and the place has ample seating. Also they have a good selection of food to eat which is nice. I like to study here however I need to remove one star since there is no WI-FI. A proper coffee shop has WI-FI and doesn't make you create a hotspot for yourself. Perhaps they should offer the Wi-Fi password on the receipt like the people down at Big Mug coffee do.
Not a safe place to eat. San Francisco is full of criminals and since this place has customers that "feel unsafe" with police officers around the logical conclusion is the customers here are criminals. Therefore this is not a safe place to eat and should be avoided at all costs. Maybe there is a restaurant that supports police in San Francisco but probably not.
Whenever I'm in SF, I try to visit Manny's because I believe in the mission. A place where folks can come and take part in civic and political life. Plus, the partnership with Farming Hope is the cherry on top. However, they don't offer wifi anymore. I understand it's expensive to run a coffee shop and people will sit for hours but at least offer it when you buy from Farming Hope. I think Manny should rethink no wifi!
Dog friendly brunch spot. They allow dogs both in their outdoor seating as well as inside.Brunch menu is primarily composed of savory dishes e.g. hash), so don't expect pancakes or waffles. But the food and chai was good.Vibe is a cross between a library and political rally. There are cardboard cutouts of politicians everywhere and pledges to go out to vote tacked to the wall. Additionally there's a huge display of books and several comfy couches and cozy corners. Will definitely return.
Manny's Cauliflower Shawarma is bomb!! Their fried cauliflower in pita bread with veggies is so delicious. Yesterday was my first time trying it, and it was so yummy and fulfilling! Not to mention, Manny's has such a warm and chill vibe inside despite being located on such a crazy busy intersection.
Manny's is a great community space that hosts great events and talks with great thought leaders and change makers.
This place is it! The perfect place to work near a window on a beautiful day with delicious food and drink options, unique and cozy furniture, and excellent vibes. They sell a small but mighty selection of books which only contributes to this optimal energy.I have been to many cafes during the past week visiting SF while working and was feeling sad about all the other coffee shops despite how many there are on every block. Glad I randomly found this place while walking past.
I finally made it to Manny's. This was on my bucket list for a while. I had a positive experience while visiting. The staff were friendly and fast on their feet. I loved the ambience and vibe. The entire place felt comfortable and easy to absorb yourself into the seating. The interior is decorative with political cutouts, 8x10 printouts, and soft velor sofas. The front of the cafe has highchair seating and is comfortable for computer table work. Overall, i liked the cafe. The only shocking incident was the SF. service charge ($1.65) for coffee and a scone added to the overall tab. BS... SF add-ons!
It's a big and beautiful coffee shop with middle eastern food. Lot's of indoor and outdoor seatings. It's more fun since Fridays and Saturdays Valencia is closed to cars.
Trust me guys, one of the best places for studying here in San Francisco. There are plentiful outlets and wonderful Wifi. On top of that, the coffee is great, it is very clean and the café is also pleasant when it comes to decoration, the choice of tables and, chairs and so on. But just wait until you see the bathroom - that will really make you trippy.
