Their sandwich is amazing. The ingredients are stuffed like crazy (as you can see in other review pictures) but somehow still well balanced. You may have to unhinge your jaw if you want to take a full bite of the entire sandwich though. I only tried their baja turkey but will have to go back to try the rest!
Sandwiches are on the pricey side ($16-$17) but absolutely packed with flavor and very filling.Simple setup where you can order ahead online for pickup or visit their location for takeout (no seating inside). They also accept card inside, which is nice when you don’t have cash.Favorites:- Mortadella: love the pepper relish and garlic-anchovy mayo mix- Pastrami: the pickled cauliflower/peppers and the meat itself are delicious- Roast Beef: a bit funky with the BBQ sauce and blue cheese mayo, so wouldn’t get it all the time but very unique
We got the Soppressata to take out on 1/29/22. We couldn't order in the store - there was a sign saying we had to order through their website. There was a bunch of people waiting in the front and so it took quite a while to get our sandwich. I would recommend ordering it ahead of time.It was a good sandwich but it wasn't memorable.
Incredible sandwiches. Great to bring for a picnic to the park!
Hole in the wall sandwich shop near the painted ladies. Their flavors are nuanced and their sandwiches beautifully complex. Highly recommend!
So far, very good sandwiches. Bread is crunchy and well stuffed. Tuna melt was delicious, moist and spicy. Reuben had a solid amount of veggies and awesome pickled cauliflower.I was only missing some side, egg or potato salad, or maybe some chili or soup. Also great location, next to beautiful park overlooking incoming painted ladies and gorgeous San Francisco skyline.
I’m literally not a sub girl. But this places makes me a sub gurl. I don’t know a better sub, if you can name one I’ll literally give you an award. The beef sub is unbelievable
love this sandwich shop! my fave sandwiches are the pastrami and the roast beef. the roast beef is definitely heavier with the fried onions and blue cheese (i’m not usually a blue cheese fan but i think it works well in this combo!) so i like to get it when i eat with others so we can swap sandwich halves. plus it’s only a block away from Alamo parki’ve also tried the avo smash and the turkey but those aren’t big stand outs for meorder online or cash only in stores
Lucinda’s sandwiches are a dream to sandwich lovers. They do not skimp on any ingredient. You could definitely eat a half and save it for later… but it’s so good you’ll most likely eat it in a single sitting.
Great sandwiches! Loved the BLTA. Cash only in store or order online.
