My review is for their food truck at the UCSF Mission Bay Campus. Wanted something small to eat before heading back to the hospital, saw their $5 for 3 street tacos sign, decided I’d give it a shot. One of those you get what you pay for painful lessons. Also, a bit shady that they have $5 tacos and then require a $7 minimum to use anything but cash to pay. Once they put the tacos in front of me at the pickup window, a dude walked by and said, “that’s the $5 tacos?!” And just took off. I did the same about the rice that I was forced to order to pay with CC. Would’ve prefer to have saved myself the $7 lesson and went somewhere legit. The baby sized tacos were decent but about $2 worth of food. JM2C, the place was a rip off even at a sub $10 price point.
It's a shame that these people have such poor customer service as their tacos are really good. I came here all the time and they are always pretty much rude, but I ignored them because their food is good and affordable. They will chop tomatoes and chat to each other while you wait for them to hand them the tacos they just called out. Same when you come to order. They stand and talk while you wait to order and only have a 30 minute break.Today I asked for an extra salsa and they didn't want to give it to me! Then they were like oh it's 50 cents. Mind you I come here all the time and always order the same thing. Now today it's 50 cents. They just lack customer service skills.
Their truck came to my work and It was the bomb. I had the burrito with 2 types of pork, I liked the sweet one better. The rice was awesome and perfectly cooked. The burrito, which seemed to have been toasted in a presser after it was rolled (this small detail, gave the tortilla a toasty flavor). The homemade chips and salsa were good also ?
I love Filipino fusion, but I only tried the longanisa burrito here which was not tasty.

The street tacos (sweet pork) are great and the sweet bacon burrito is wonderful!
Unique and delicious Fil-Mex menu. I like their Bistek Tacos and more!
