This place is pretty lit. We came to get a giant piece of steak to share but it's not longer in the menu :(. Instead we shared the carnitas nacho which was yummy. Then the birria quesadilla is so juicy and meaty. The taco tropical (shrimp) is so good and juicy with fruits and shrimp.Highly recommend this place if you're with some friends. (We were able to just walk in an instantly get seated).
Had visited Lolo in Guadalajara and they had mentioned they had one in San Francisco. We loved it so much in Mexico that we made it a point to visit while in the city. We were blown away with the food even though the menu differs a little from the one in Mexico. We live in Southern California and are used to good Mexican food. Fantastic flavors, funky great ambiance and superb service. We visit San Francisco often and have made this a must on every visit. I saw some reviews that mention the price and value but to us, that just seems to be typical of SF. All good meals were pricey.
Oh my everything we had here was amazing (and I’m not into exaggerating) no photos since we indulged. But shrimp ceviche, tuna taco, shrimp taco in jicama. Just wow. Come and try yourself!
Good variety of tacos! Taste amazing but the wait was super long and the wines were like mehh but the cocktails were good!
Fun vibe with some stand out dishes but a little overrated in my opinion ??♀️ Standouts were the fried chicken tacos ? ? and cricket tostadas ? The arugula salad was simple yet tasty (you’d hate to see a miss here) ? I’d go again but wouldn’t wait more than 15 minutes for a table ??
Fantastic food! Was incredibly busy, even for a Monday night but was so worth the wait to get in. Inventive takes on authentic Mexican and the cocktail list is great too!
Great place to take somebody from out of town. The walls have stories the service is excellent and the food is amazing. And it's fun! Not to mention the price is not exactly cheap and not too expensive but just right. Worth every penny
Food was good and service quick. It used to be impossible to get a table at this joint but now it seems things have quiet down and we could get a table within minutes. I highly recommend the tuna tacons and the guacamole.
