The kaimak at this Lokma restaurant has a different texture than what I ate locally. It feels more solid. It is closer to a 'clotted cream' from England rather than a puffy. The Kaimak, which I ate at the store a few times before, had a light creamy texture that disappeared as soon as I put it in my mouth. It has a contrasting taste of Türkiye honey and light cream, but this place has a feeling that it lingers longer than honey in your mouth. It's delicious though. Honey is always delicious.I ordered the breakfast menu and morning drinks from this place. Both are delicious. By the way, the breakfast menu is alcohol.Looking around the store, customers often order Turkish breakfasts, hot cakes and strong Turkish coffee for brunch.With Yelp, you can enter quickly by placing a queue in advance and visiting. There are indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating also has tent walls on three sides, so it's good even on windy days.
Great Turkish food. Good flavor and presentation. Only critique is expensive to fill up if your a younger athletic person. Can easily eat two dishes to myself here. Very pricey for portion size . Ground meat in an eggplant with spices shouldn't cost $25

LOKMA was recommended to me by friends and it was delicious! Located in San Francisco’s Richmond district, they serve up Turkish/mediterranean cuisine. Get there early - they only take reservations for dinner.
What a wonderful meal..From soup to Turkish coffee, each dish was superb.
Such a neighborhood gem. We loved every bite, but the standouts were the mushroom soup (it was divine) and the homemade meat dumplings were just out of this world. The Turkish coffee was everything it was supposed to be, which is mikes apart from any other after dinner coffee. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

I love Lokma! Their food is always delicious and their service/wait-staff is consistently friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Their outdoor seating options are really nice & much appreciated for those of us who prefer to not eat indoors yet. I highly recommend!
