1st timer! I'll for sure go back every time I'm back in SF.Great dark ambiance, velvet-y feel, with great jazz! Craft cocktails did not disappoint!

I'm a huge fan of awesome bars that are a little secret semicolon it makes me feel special. This place definitely qualifies! The drinks are awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, and it's just hidden enough that you feel like you're being let in on a secret. A great place to get a drink!

Very cool speak easy. We were visiting from out of town and randomly walked into this one. They had a bunch of reserved tables but they were able to accommodate us even though we were a large group.Great ambience and very cool live music and performers. It felt like we were transported to a different era. I can't remember which drinks we ordered but they were tasty. If you like a speak easy vibe, try this place out.

An instant favorite! Perfect setting/decor/ambiance, drinks, and bands. It is best if you call ahead and reserve a table, but walk-ins are allowed (you'll be standing, though)

This is definitely one of my favorite places in SF. Cocktails are great and the music is super fun. Nice place to dance lindy hop and jazz in general.

Fantastic ambiance and fenomenal drinks. Tuesdays Jazz nights are the best.

We read about this cool bar, and I am very happy that we did. We were a party of 3, it was Saturday night, and it was our first time going into this establishment. I was a bit confused at first when we arrived as to how we were to go about ordering drinks. After we found a table, we sat down and watched. We figured out it is a help yourself to a menu and go up to the bar to order your drinks. I ordered the Ava Gardner cocktail because I am very adventurous, and it sounded pretty bomb. All of the ingredients were things that I just really could not imagine going together, but let me tell you they all sure did, and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. We each ordered different cocktails so we could all try a sip of each other's because that is what you do, right? The establishment is very cool to look at inside; we honestly looked around for probably at least 10 minutes before even getting into the sitting area, lots of documents to read, quite informative to say to least. You can be more educated by going to this place; I can guarantee it! Make sure to check this place out. I will surely be back to visit here the next time I am in San Francisco!

Great music to bust a move with your partner/friends! Very interesting local newspaper prints and decor.

We were looking for a place to have a few drinks and this spot based on location was convenient and seemed like a cool place to hang.First experience - we were “scolded” for not waiting at the host station and just seating ourselves l. We didn’t see anyone or a host station so when we arrived we just sat down as the place was maybe 10% full. We were a party of six. We sat down and and then tried to move closer to the band but were told not to.Second experience it seemed like there was only one server for the whole place. Through a process of events we learned that her name is Parker. My problem is not that there was only one server, it was that the whole time she seemed super uninterested in being cordial and seemed like she had no interest in being here nor striving for great customer service.Every request we had (they legitimately forgot drinks we ordered or brought us a wrong one once) seemed to have been met with irritation or disdain like we did something wrong. It got to the point where the whole fun vibe we had going was just gone. It’s really a buzz kill when you are afraid to ask for something or just met with what felt like resentment for just being here.I would not return. I would not recommend

Atmosphere was 5 stars… very cool, vibey and fun. Atmosphere is speakeasy, music was not… except while the live band was playing.Every bartender was drunk and I had to return my drinks because we ordered something off the menu but received Gin and Tonic. Original bartender we went to was slurring, tripping over things and throwing ingredients all over the bar and not in the drinks themselves. Also watched him break a glass. The second bartender wasn’t much better. She doubled up on the juice in the cocktail, so it wasn’t the proper balance…. She was drunk as she did it too. While I was there I saw at least 7 drinks get sent back…This is a bar with a cool atmosphere. Not a speakeasy and not worth it…. Unless you enjoy overpriced cocktails with drunk bartenders and no mixologists.
