The ceviche is delicious. I ordered the trio and couldn’t choose a best one, they were all flavorful in their own way. I recommend getting the extra order of taro chips on the side because they don’t come with many in the order itself. If you are looking for a non-alcoholic refreshing drink, I highly recommend the chicha morada—it’s made with purple corn, fruit and spices. It kind of tastes like a lighter mulled wine, not too sweet and not too sour! The bar service was great, and the staff were very friendly. There are also electric outlets under the bar which was a lifesaver b/c my phone was about to die. When I’m in SF again, I will definitely go back.

Omg, omg. How did we not know there was a Limon in SF? It does not compare to the Burlingame location down in the Peninsula. Maybe it isn't fair to compare SF food to the Peninsula, since SF is light years ahead overall. We were wandering around the Mission, lamenting how much lower the rent is than the peninsula and how much better the food and stumbled upon this Peruvian place. After seeing the menu we realized it was the same as the one we used to frequent in Burlingame until we got tired of the inconsistent food drink quality and service. Wow, this SF location did everything better and different. Yuca fries are so fresh and soft, chicken chicharrón chicken was not gamey or stringy, they offered whole chicken dine-in (Burlingame you are forced to order two separate half chickens, and pay more, and only offer whole chicken to-go), sangria was not watered down and in a clean glass, the list goes on. The presentation as well as sauces are completely different, as you can from pics everything at this location is plated beautifully. At their Burlingame location for example, the chicken is served on a baking sheet, and presentation as well as food quality overall is much lower.Wish the Peninsula restaurants would hurry and catch up to SF food quality level, since if anything we pay more down here.

I enjoyed dining here but not enough to say I absolutely loved it. The 1/2 chicken we ordered was a little dry, and the side order of Jasmine rice was also a bit stale. The yuca fries were excellent though. The assorted empanadas were good and fun to share, but I prefer a flakier crust. Pulpo was well seasoned but a tad bit too tough for my taste. 5 stars go to the pisco sours though!! Really good cocktails for the price ☺️

Food was delicious, service was friendly and chilled (just what you need on a Sunday) and atmosphere was cool. We had a table for 5 and pretty much shared everything to get the best value. We ordered the classic ceviche too but went to fast digging in! ?Pictured: 1) arroz com mariscos; 2) whole chicken; 3) side veggies (zucchini).

The copa is hands down my favorite! La copa is so good! I got the spicier version and it was amazing! I recommend getting the copa if you enjoy aguachiles or ceviche.Their drink are pretty good! All four that we tried were tasty! My favorite being the matcha and elderflower one.Staff is nice and very attentive! The service was good and food came to table fast.

- overall, great restaurant for dinner on a weekend catching up with friends- lively atmosphere, the place was busy but still got a table for 2 immediately at 7pm. place was loud though! i felt like i was screaming at times- get everything to share so you can try multiple dishes, the restaurant is meant to be tapas style- el trio ceviche classico flavor: three types of ceviche. probably enough to share with 3 people. would probably just get the el pescador next time.- camaron ceviche: my least favorite. it was just cooked shrimp in ceviche sauce- ceviche mixto: too much shrimp and not enough of the fresh catch. the fish was good though- el pescador: best ceviche out of the three! red snapper was tender and flavorful- arroz con mariscos: solid paella like dish, the rice was cooked and seasoned well along with the seafood. can’t go wrong but nothing mind blowing- lengua: star dish of the night! the lengua was still juicy even after grilling and had a nice smoky flavor. balanced well with the brussels sprouts and hash- sangria: classic sangria, nothing to write home about

Great little area. Lively restaurant. We were lucky to get Yazmin as our waitress. Super friendly, knowledgeable, all the right suggestions. Everything came up in a timely manner. The ceviche was as good as we have ever had. Still in town for a few more days so we might cycle back on Tuesday. Highly recommend.

Great place for Peruvian food. The rotisserie chicken is great. They also have good drinks. The ambiance is fun. And the service is friendly.

I really wanted to like the place. I got the Arroz Con Pollo and the fiesta platter. We all like the pork skins. The beef empanadas were good but maybe a little cold. None of us were impressed by the mac and cheese. I really enjoyed my Arroz Con Pollo but the first half of the service was terrible our waitress during the last half service saved it.

Crowded and under staffed. Food took a long time to arrive but was not entirely disappointed. We had the Fiesta Platter with beef Empanadas, and the Chicharon de Pollo. The Mac n Cheese that came with it was obviously a filler. After reading their older menus, this used to be a Seafood Jalea. If they're trying to cut costs, I rather they not have it at all and focus more on the parts that actually taste good/matter. It was absolutely tasteless, bland, and overcooked. The pollo carried this dish; like a one man band. The Polli Papas just like the platter had filler food, but unlike the platter it was more than 1/3 of the dish. There's a mountain of french fries as photographed. Well if I wanted a dish of french fries, ? I wouldn't be disappointed. But the selling point for this on the menu was the chicken which sadly, was under portioned, cast aside, forgotten about. It was tasteless, like an after thought. This was topped off with a sprinkle of processed desert like twigs labeled as cheese. Sorry, I'll pass.As for the 1/4 rotisserie chicken with Yuca fries and zucchini, they were nothing much to write home about. We were unsure if the sauces were meant for this dish, even so, everything on this plate was overcooked and under seasoned. If you've gotten this far down my review, I'm gonna level with you. The zucchini was a total waste of time, resources, and my money. Why was it labeled as "Chifa Vegetables" when all it was was sad mushy zucchinis. The Ceviche was the only redeeming dish for the entire experience. Fresh fish in a moat of zesty orange dressing. The citrus notes, and the spicy heat as an after taste gave it a mouth watering zing! The Mai Tai was hard and sweet. Decent, but as tall as the vessel was, ice was the majority.TLDR:The Ceviche de Pescado is the only dish I'd come back for.
