Classy and yet cute decorations throughout this venue! Great for a small group get together! Everyone was crazy about the oysters here so we went ahead and ordered a dozen. Oysters were fresh but not as flavorful as I expected. They were also very small for the price of $3-4 each. Limited options on the menu. Lots of fusion style food. I personally liked the salmon bite with crunch rice on the bottom. It was tastey although also very pricey. The butter roll was so good you would want to make it at home. Lobster roll was ok but not enough lobster on top and too much mayo. Overall a 5 star experience with the warm bathroom and scented candle. Food was 4 stars. Price was 3 stars. Service was 10 stars.

Leo’s has such an amazing ambiance! The description was perfect as it also gave me old school Cuba! The oysters were heaven! I can honestly say that they are the best I’ve had in California thus far hands down! And to top it off we had an amazing experience with the hostess and the waitresses. I wish I had gotten the hostess’ name but we did get the waitress’ name which was Seaira and she was absolutely a gem! Love love loved her energy and spirit plus she made us laugh all night! Overall, we will definitely come back to Leo’s on another visit to San Fransisco ✨🧚🏾‍♀️ !

This iconic oyster bar is an experience you will not soon forget. The dining room and bar are adorned with vintage lamps, crystal and water jugs, and wrapped in big bold wallpaper - Leo's is intimate and full of class. We ordered some Sauvignon Blanc to start, and then all the food we could possibly eat. 4 varieties of oysters lead the menu, 2 of which we tried. We both agreed: the hamachi crudo might be the best single dish we can remember eating this year. A salad with strawberries, goat cheese, radishes and pistachios was delightful. Two oysters served with caviar exploded with the flavor of the sea. Leo's should be on your list when you visit San Francisco.

Wonderful service and friendly waiter. Recommendation was spot on as we enjoyed the fresh oysters and spicy salmon. Loved the bubbly too.

So lovely, really came here for the vibe but the food and drinks were so good. Crudo was by far our favorite and they even greeted us with a glass of champagne since it was our anniversary- can’t wait to come back

This place has the friendliest staff. They were super patient with us foreigners. We asked for recommendations for places to go/things to do and our server wrote us a list. they also have these post cards and let us write a bunch that they send out on behalf of their patrons (very nice touch). The food was so good. We ordered seconds of the butter rolls and several other dishes. Super instagramable spot too.

lovely experience, delicious seafood and can't wait to come back!

How have I lived in SF for 2.5 years and have never been here?! This is the CUTEST place I have ever seen, we felt like we were on vacation! From the ambiance, to the music, to the service, and of course the food - Leo’s Oyster Bar is just to die for! 🍹Garden Party - love me an egg white cocktail! So refreshing, not too sweet, YUM 🥚 Leo’s Deviled Egg - only comes with a half (so make sure to order enough for each person to have their own) really tasty! If you like deviled eggs you must try 🦪 The Big Cove were our favorite, but can’t really go wrong; their cocktail sauce is amazing! We also got a few of the Chef Creek, Willapa Bay, and Eloise oysters 🍣 Spicy Salmon Bites - O M G! Sooo good, could have eaten 50. Perfect amount of spice and flavor, with perfectly cooked crispy rice 🐠Pan Seared Scallops - I think this stole the show! Every single bite mixed with the corn and chilis left us contemplating another order. A must have! 🦀 Blue Crab + Buttered Rolls - holy moly yummy! These do not come together, but you absolutely need to order together - we made our own mini crab sandwiches! The spicy mayo added the perfect kick and the compound butter on the rolls is truly insane ✨ Like already mentioned, cutest place I’ve ever seen. Love all the decor and plants! Music was super fun and upbeat, but not too loud to have a conversation. The service was impeccable - never waited long, super friendly, and great recommendations (shout out to Flavia!) 🤍 My mom is visiting and loves all food and especially oysters, so I’m very happy my first time here was with her. Ideal for 2-3 people unless you order multiple of a bunch of things 💯 Nikki’s Noms Number: 63/10 (@noms.with.nikki)
