I feel like we got duped twice. First off, I have no idea why our order took 20 minutes when we were the only people ordering. Then when we got home, we opened the box only to discover we somehow got super soggy chicken tenders instead of wings. This would have been zero stars if Google had that option. I’ll never order from here again, and I’d highly recommend that you avoid this place and go to Bonchon.Super soggy chicken tenders.
I generally don't give bad reviews because most the time I feel like business are trying their best. But this place! It's called Left Wing but it's more like soggy chicken tenders. Service was so slow I was wondering if they had to kill the chicken in the back. Do better Left Wing.
unfortunately the worst korean chicken I’ve tried
Five stars for service and care for the details (my food was still hot and crispy after the drive home) - and an enthusiastic four stars for the food. Almost every time I shop at H Mart I'll stop by for some solid KFC - and since my first visit the food has consistently improved. Though this is possibly my favorite KFC in the Bay Area, I think you might be a bit disappointed if you've enjoyed KFC at some of the landmark restaurants down in LA. The flavors are good - but I always want a bit more intensity like I've enjoyed at Kyochan and BBQ Chicken in LA's Koreatown. Worth the visit - the chicken sandwich is SOLID.
The fried chicken itself is okay - maybe 3.5 stars depending on the flavor. Service is super slow for no obvious reason - and on both occasions I tried, the chicken wasn't even that hot when I received it. Bonchon does a much better job executing in a higher-volume environment. Food here isn't cheap either. I'll probably pass on future visits.
Hands down one of the best friend chicken experiences we've had; comparable to the best we've found in Seoul & LA.We happened to come across this restaurant during a trip to H-mart. The chicken was freshly made, amazingly juicy and really well seasoned. Some of the online reviews for this place are ridiculous, citing long (10-15 minute...) wait times and noting the variety of cuts of chicken. I think most of these reviews come from people not familiar with Korean fried chicken (which does use all chicken parts), expecting this to be a 1:1 experience with American KFC or Popeyes.Thankfully we didn't read any of these reviews in advance such that they did not deter us from trying the food.
Self service ordering. The counter person was eating his lunch. Then a 20 min wait. I was the only order. I ask the counter person why so long and he snapped at me “It’s all craft made. It takes a while”. When I asked why there isn’t a sign to say that, he walked away. The chicken arrived.. not hot. Not even sort of. Clearly it had been sitting. There are plenty of other food stalls. Skip this loser.
Tasty Korean fried chicken!
Yangnyeom chicken!
There was a long wait for my Medium box of Bone-in chicken. But the long wait for what? There was only 1 order ahead of me and when I received my food it was cold. My guess is that they mix the chicken with cold sauce or the employees in the front are slow and are not as attentive as they should be. I bought the bone-in chicken expecting to only get wings considering the restaurant is called Left WING. But most of my order was chicken breast as they use the whole chicken. At least it was still crispy but it was unsatisfying that it was cold.
