The quality of meat was good and they have a lot of options for soups and side dishes. I would go again.
My family and I ate here on 1/31/22 for dinner. We stuck with the all-you-can-eat selections and what they had was good. My family had a good time.I didn't like that the radish wrap had oranges in it.The service was good. Once you wave at someone; they will quickly come to see if you need anything after they dealt with their immediate task. We had a party of 8 so we had two cooking stoves - split into four people per stove.
I ate here on February 15th, 2022 and paid $38 per person for dinner. The selection of meat were good and the side dishes were nice. I tried the spicy rice cake and corn cheese, which were very delicious. The spicy rice cake was crispy but not burnt and its flavor was sweet and spicy. The corn cheese had chopped onions, tomatoes, peppers and the cheese was cooked to a nice crisp.I also tried the steamed egg hot pot but that was terrible. It was almost purely egg. There was no fluffiness to it at all.I had a great time but I think the price is a bit too high for what they're offering. I think I'd rather go to K-Elements.
From NYC, staying in union square and took a 20 minute train for a KBBQ dinner. Came right at 5:00 and was welcomed to a table right away, the service was non stop and food was absolutely delicious and well worth the value!!! Highly recommend!!
One of the best places!!!
if u gave lower than a 4 star review your a bum!!! THE OWNER IS SO NICE AND THE WORKERS ARE SO FUNNY AND NICE. I LOVE THE OWNER AND HIS PURPLE HAIR. such a friendly place would totally go again. food was amazing, presentation of the food was amazing. money was worth it considering the workers of this place went above and beyond . much love
Worst sweet experience as my daughter said. A lot of sweet meet. Too much. Supersweet drinks. No ambiance at all. Service is almost not existing. But it is too loud to expect anything anyway. Saturday evening 1900.
Amazing food, a lot of side dishes. Waitress was not attentive, meat orders took a little longer. But overall, great dining experience.
Generally disappointed with my experience at Kogi Gogi BBQ.TL;DR version: Staff was generally great. LA Galbi, Thinly sliced pork, and the appetizers were stand outs. The burner failure and slow uptake to move us after multiple requests and general frustration leads to a low review.Came in at 5:15pm on a Wednesday and it was a very quick sit down. Staff was nice and attentive and generally quick to respond to requests/inquiries.I went with 6 people (including myself) and did the regular AYCE ($38). Food was pretty good (one member noted meats were very sweet), but the Galbi and thinly sliced pork were definitely stand outs for all the meat. The main issue we had was that the original seat we were given had a faulty burner. The fire was good until a grate was put on top, leading to a smaller fire and less heat and longer cooking time. Frustrations were high especially after a few requests to change seats and long cook times while hungry.I'd recommend the place to try, but I'm not too sure if I would return based on this experience.
Staff are attentive and provide a good, efficient service. Its a not charcoal BBQ place, and foods do not the most authentic Korean flavors, but a variety of protein and side dishes(banchan) are available. Meals are refilled quickly upon request. All You Can Eat but All You Must Eat
