BEWARE OF THE BLOODY CHICKEN.We ate here Sunday evening 7/17/22 n one of the items we ordered was the POLLO A LA BRASA n it came out BLOODY. We told the waitress twice that the chicken was bloody n she claimed it was hemoglobin n not blood, n said it was normal n safe to eat. I don't know bout y'all but I ain't ever ate chicken that looked bloody n raw like that.
Infuriating experience. Waitress/kitchen forgot literally 1/2 of our total meal. 45 min after ordering we had to ask multiple times about dishes. I was honestly shocked they didn’t comp something or do anything for us - at this price point ($18/sushi roll), it’s ridiculous to pay full price for something after we have an interest in eating it. Host/manager came over to ensure everything was fine - we ordered another round of drinks. NONE OF THE DRINKS CAME. Waitress was indignant the entire time. She acted like it was a bear to take our order, was hard to get a hold of. Food was good/fine, but inadequate at the price point. Wanted to like this place but really poor experience.
A Japanese sushi restaurant with lots verity of sushi and much more. Tasty, enough portion, good service but must mind few matters such as clearing the table from the entree plates before serving the main course. Recommended
Seated promptly at reservation time, drinks were good, food was good. What made this a bad experience for me was that my entree came in late. As in my friends were about to finish their entrees before I even got mine, and they were being nice too and waited a few minutes for me too. We also ordered our entrees at the same time. Entrees should arrive at a reasonable time together!!! so no one is left out just watching. Our waiter could of done a better job noticing, I had to get his attention to get the status of my entree, and being told that it would come out “soon”. Good food, but bad experience
We were a large party. We wanted to have a special evening and our daughter whom lives in SF, chose this restaurant. The food was ok. But the service left a lot to be desired. Clearly service charge is “included” for large parties so the servers have no “incentive” to provide good service. We had Maddy as our server. She was attentive while taking our order for starters but after that it was impossible to get her attention. She would walk right past our table without looking at us. When we tried to get her attention, she would say I will be right back and disappear. One of us had to get up, navigate through the restaurant to find her and ask her to take our order. Finally she came and took our order. The food came. For everyone except my daughter who had ordered Sushi!! We had all finished our meals and her sushi still hadn’t come. Maddy passed us three times and refused to acknowledge our attempts to seek her attention. Finally we asked one of the other servers to ask Maddy that her food hadn’t come. Maddy comes and says that “they forgot”! Very poor attitude. Of course when it was time to pay, she was at the table asking us how was our experience and hoped that we had a good time. I refused to give her a penny more than the “included” service charge. The staff work very hard. You could see that they were constantly running around the restaurant but that is no excuse to ignore and provide such poor service. My advice - don’t go in large groups. Up to four should be fine. If you get Maddy, get all your orders in at once because you may not see her till the end of the meal.
We had a great time here! Dinner was delicious, and we tried lots of different things:) Drinks were pretty strong, which is rare these days. Appreciated attentive service. Atmosphere is lively and fun. Looking forward to checking out other locations.
Reservation was originally made for 5:15 but we ran late, which they had no issue with FYI-ing them over the phone. Such friendly staffs! We sat outside, which had colorful ribbons as backdrop and lights - such a cute ambiance! Drinks were good and everything item we had amazing combination of textures and some taking me through a journey through so many different flavors. Kaiyo roll was really good! I'd come back for this! Some things were just a tad bit too acidic for my tummy but we thoroughly enjoyed all of the foods! The service was super fast so we finished everything within 35-40mins - good thing since I was hangry ;)
I reserved for a Christmas Eve dinner with them and their prefixed menu was fabulous. The Arrozz con mariscos was a little watery but all the other stuff we got was DELICIOUS. The staff was very courteous and the cocktails were real tasty. Most definitely coming back here to try their regular menu. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas eve experience!
This was our first time eating here and it was recommended by friends. Our experience lived up to the accolades.Each dish was so flavorful. The service was attentive without feeling rushed. We will definitely be back.
Cabiche sampler, shrimp roll, lomo saltado, butterfish skewers and especially the matcha custard were top shelf. Staff's super friendly ?Garanz one killa spot for schmento grinds cuzin yessai ??Going tell all my friends back Hawai‘i for check out dis spot.
