The Karaage ramen was so huge, I couldn't finish the bowl. It was delicious, can't wait to go back and try to eat the whole thing.
We walked here from Japantown to build our appetities....and were not disappointed at all.The food lived up to the other reviews and our own anticipation. The vast array of interesting and daring offerings made me a little nervous because it's rare that a kitchen can do so much while maintaining quality and consistency but EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS STELLAR.Service was timely for such a busy place and helpful when we had questions or concerns. We're returning again soon, but definately for my birthday....it's that good.
Great food. Friendly service. The appetizers were fantastic. Definitely coming here again. Also very good cold sake.
The broth is superb for ramen. The calamari appetizer and lobster tempura had a light, flavorful coating. Garlic edamame finger licking good. The broth has deep, flavorful texture to it. Generous portions. Love the Izakaya options as well.
short: Decent food and I liked the vibe but I wouldn't really go out of my way to eat there again, and would definitely try something different next time.long: We both got spicy miso ramen, one with tofu one with pork.. service was lovely, and the noodles, porkbelly, and eggs were an excellent texture, but unfortunately my praise ends there. The portions were okay but underwhelming for the price and I did expect a little more protein- the noodles were filling but I was hungry again soon after. The broth and noodles were very mild and my tofu, corn, seaweed tasted like nothing at all. The 'potato nest,' which i was really looking forward to, unfortunately had the exact flavor and texture of crushed Ruffles chips, which worked at first but they got soggy and nasty pretty quick.
So good! So fun! Loved this little hole on the wall ramen and sushi restaurant. Great ramen full of flavor!! I had the tonkatsu which has broth that's been simmering for hours. It was excellent. Our party also ordered the coconut ramen (HIGHLY RECOMMEND- if you like coconut broth), and a kids ramen which was perfectly bland just like a kid wants.Pretty good service too!
Okay place with great service and cool ambience. We got Kobe beef ramen what that way too onions and noodles but too little soup. Also feel was slightly tuff. Flavors was mild and good.Pork chatsu was on the dry side but curry delicious.
Food was delicious! Spicy miso ramen was my favorite, but the service was something else. One person working the whole restaurant doing an amazing job and when we forgot a phone she ran out and gave it to us. 4 star food 10 star service.
I got a very bad stomach flu after eating their raw oysters. Apparently there’s norovirus outbreaks in oysters right now. Still recovering, vomiting isn’t fun.
Small spot that packs a monster of a menu. Fresh, flavorful and attentive service.
