Great food, great staff, great drinks. What more do you need for a great time? The food's amazing. It's not gonna win competitions, but it's gonna fill your stomach and your heart without emptying your wallet. I got a plain house burger and it was the very Platonic ideal of a burger. Can't disappoint. The atmosphere is jovial and lends itself for conversation. While I'm not the most chatty fella, this is definitely a place to wind down after work and have a meal and a chat. The staff is awesome. Props to bartender Devin. All of them were polite and prompt. It's a beautiful pub, what more can you want?

Great Irish pub. We went to the main bar (which is not where the duelling pianos are) and had some drinks and fries. At 22 there was a band playing , black pages. Really cool and fun, did 60’s covers.Had a great time and drank great beers. They have some Irish like Guinness, Kilkenny etc

Comfort food, great service and clean, well run. Would go back, for sure. It is popular, busy and has a hum to it. The building itself is great...high ceilings and well laid out. Great beer selection...worth a visit ...no reservations.

Excellent. Top class service. Freshly cooked tasty food, and the best cup of black tea in San Fran! We had ribs and vegetarian panini. Both delicious

Hadn't been in this pub in over 10 years and it was as good as I remembered! The beer selection had quite a few Irish options, as well as some locals. Great service at the bar and the food (bangers and mash) were delicious! I might not have remembered this spot if it hadn't been a block or so from our hotel but I'm so glad it was and I got to visit!

Great location, food, service and atmosphere! It was busy and fun. Food was great with very little wait. Our server was wonderful.

One of my favorite go to places in San Francisco. This place does not disappoint. One of the best fish & chips I've ever had; comparable to what I had in London.

I have been coming to Johnny Foley's Irish House for over 20 years. The best grilled tuna sandwich I have ever had in all of the cities I have visited. And of course, always a perfect pour of your Guinness.

Amazing food and great drinks. A perfect Irish bar. The servers were also very courteous. We went on a Wednesday so it was fairly empty, but I've heard this place gets crowded. Will definitely visit again

Great service and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended.
