Found Johnâs on âGluten free near meâ app. Although on the pricey side, the lamb & beef were delicious. We sat outside with the bustle of the street & unfortunate low odour of the street.
My party of 4 women had a very enjoyable pre-theater dinner. We were seated promptly, had excellent service and fantastic food. Our waiter accommodated all of our special requests, which we really appreciated. A delicious and memorable meal. This is one of our favorite places to dine before the theater. Thank you. We will be back.
On vacation in SF and stumbled upon this restaurant. A really nice find. Cozy pub atmosphere. Great food selections at fair prices. Drinks were delicious with a âheavy pourâ. Try it snd you will like it!
One of the best steaks weâve had for a while. Service was efficient, but not too rushed. Meals were very generous and delicious. Interesting venue.

Had a wonderful meal. Started with the Tortellone appetizer, it was excellent. Had the broiled Halibut with capers and mushrooms, it was delicious! Every time we go to the City we always dine at John's Grill at least twice. Our waiters were great. Very attentive and courteous. Service is fast.
