I LOVE J&TJ but I've come to hate this location - avoid it at all costs. It's way too busy (likely due to its prime downtown location) but they are also understaffed. Today they had only two baristas, one moving at a snail's pace filling the 50+ app orders that were rolling in, and the other sprinting around the store trying to serve all of the in-person customers. My smoothie had entire chunks of food still in it because the poor worker only blended it for like 15 seconds before pouring it out so he could hand it to me and get to the next customer waiting. Awful experience for $12... but I love this brand and hope they can improve....
This is one of my favorite cafe’s because the shakes and food seem healthy and the vibes are dope. They must have had a board meeting about how they can save cost on the Avocado toast because I could barely see or taste the avocado. Kinda disappointing especially because they charge a premium. Hope they change this
I ordered a strawberry drink for my son and found out the store was out of strawberry. So I had to change my drink selection.First, the cashier didn't provide me the cash refund to make up the difference (strawberry drink is more costly). Then when I order the replacement drink and said specially that we don't want pineapple, the cashier put mostly pineapple in the drink.
Smoothies were Okay but Service was pretty poor from bartender & waitress, missing both kindness, a bit of joy & definitely some dynamism..
Drinks are good but very pricy. 2 of the 3 times they’ve been out of strawberries, which makes you wonder what they’re doing with the money
Ambiance is good. Coffee is delicious. Service can be better.
The place is awesome. But guys - reduce music volume please. It's so loud it's hard to stay inside. It's a coffee place - NOT a night club!!!It's also extremely long wait. Only one barista does everything. Hire more people please.
The staff is very bad, very indifferent, they simply don't care.I asked whether I will be called when my order was ready, they said yes, and they never called me. Then when I came by myself to the get my order, they didn't even show any gesture to apologize, not even a sorry.Then any question I made, they didn't even care and didn't even answer or answer something completely unrelated.2 stars because I am generous.
Really plush coffee shop style cafe with food and an extensive drink menu. Come and relax while the city goes by outside. Come here and it will feel like you are inside one of those lowfi chill youtube streams.
Too arrogant staff! I told them the WiFi is not working and they got defensive and instead of fixing it, was saying the WiFi is fine. Asked anybody there if they are connected to WiFi and no one was. Still didn’t fix the WiFi. They have the same attitude if they mess up your drink, they would just lie to your face instead of accepting that they have made mistake for your drink.
