Jijime was the last restaurant that we visited during our stay in San Francisco and once again, we were not disappointed. We visited for late lunch/dinner. We ordered the Beef Potstickers, my husband had the Bulgogi Plate and I ordered the Chicken Jjim (spicy, pictured). Everything was delicious. The Bulgogi had a delicious sauce that had a hint of sweetness to it. The Chicken Jjim was the perfect level of spice. It had the heat and a complimentary hint of sweetness to it that made you want more. Incredible food. Would highly recommend.
I had the Tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious. The grilled pork belly in it is super yummy. The beef potstickers were pretty good too.
Keep in mind this is an Asian Fusion spot, so don't expect super authetic Korean or Japanese food. I made a reservation for 8 people ahead of time. They were surely busy. It took 40 minutes for us to receive our food after ordering...I got the Chicken Jjim, which was decent. It lacked a bit of depth in flavor for me... Mainly tasted like soy sauce. The chicken was fairly tender and it paired well with the cheese and veggies. I was shocked to see there were no potatoes in this jjim though!! It also needed a lot more glass noodles. We got the Okonomiyaki Fries too, which were a good appetizer. Similar texture to McDonald's fries! My friends all tried the Sizzling Bibimbap and seemed to really enjoy it! It comes out on an entire cast iron skillet, which is pretty cool. The texture of the rice changes as you eat it" says one of my friends who has never had dolsot before LOL
Very good bowl of ramen, chashu was very flavorful and delicious
Jijime is a great place to go for a good meal that’s pretty satisfying. I really enjoy their plates and appetizers. We enjoy their rice plates, ramen and bibimbaps!
I got the pork belly sizzling bibimbap with extra meat and brown rice. I made the mistake of adding too much sauce, the pork belly seems to be already marinated, so the taste was a bit too much for me. Quality service, relaxing atmosphere. I would rate it 4.5/5 but there isn't a option for it and 4 star seems under rating it.

The food was pretty good, flavors were there for the most part. The pork belly, while cooked well needed more of the sauce that they put on top. The popcorn pot sticker bites were ok. If you pick half to pick between the chicken karage or the Korean fried chicken, pick the KFC. The KFC was way more tender than the karage, which was harder to chew through.I did enjoy myself, everything was reasonably priced. Service was great and will return but I'll be looking to try other things on the menu.
Came here because a friend raved about the ramen. Came mid day and was disappointed that they were already out of brown rice and the seafood for the seafood ramen. Ended up with the ramen with the truffle oil. Ordered med spice. Extremely tasty and filling. The peach sake was devine as well. A small pitcher is plenty to share. Id definitely come back for ramen if in the area.
Great on all points, food, beverage, service, location, ambiance.
